On the one hand, I feel bad writing this review, as Donald Kahn seems like a nice sort of chap. However, on the other hand, I would never let a friend of mine go to this office to get any work done.

The office is located in a nice enough, if older, professional building. But, after walking through the door, all that disappears. The office is OLD. Water stains on the walls and pictures, ancient equipment, some working, some not. You know the little sink that attaches to the chair when the dr. tells you to rinse and spit? That is being used as a magazine rack. No kidding. The xray equipment looks circa 1976. Definitely didn't look safe. His dental equipment looked dirty, but giving the benefit of the doubt, it was probably clean, and just looked dirty because it was so old.

It was easy enough to get an appointment when the office is open (they don't seem overly busy), but office hours seem spotty at best. I would be worried if any complications occurred after the procedure--- would I be able to get in touch with the dr?

Although he does not use any microscopic technology (all the newer offices are using this technology to great success), it is altogether possible that Dr. Hahn is an excellent endodontist. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the old, musty, rusty, and unclean (?) office and equipment. Let's be real: I wasn't coming here to get my wills drafted (and I would look down on any attorney who kept his office this way as well) - the work was going to take place in my MOUTH. No way.

There's more I could say... but enough has been said.

I hope Dr. Kahn reads this--- you need to do a major refurb job on your office. If you are any good, that is ALL you need to do to have a successful practice.

If you are looking for a place to get your root canal therapy--- for now, my friend, look elsewhere please.
