Dr. Morkos has treated my wife for chronic pain now for several years. He administers her a spinal injection 3 or 4 times a year. He always take the time, prior to the procedure, to sit and talk with my wife and I to see how she's been feeling. He takes the time to examin her and answers any and all questions we have. He's never in a rush. In the past, he's spent as much as an hour with us, in his office, discussing my wife's medical issues. I wish all doctors took the time he does to explain everything in very understandable language.
When the possibility of a spinal cord stimulator was discussed, my wife jumped at the opportunity. She was administered several tests to see if she would be a good candidate. After a review of all the test results, Dr. Morkos told my wife she was not a good candidate. My wife asked him to still give it a try, and he did. Sadly, he was right, and my wife was unable to tolerate the device. However, Dr. Morkos took the time to give her the benefit of the doubt, and for that, we're forever greatful. He gave her the chance, and it didn't work, but at least we know that for sure, there's no lingering questions, "what if...?"
His support staff are the best. They know us and call us by name. As I have to drive my wife to her appointments, and my work keeps me very busy, they always work with my calendar to set her appointments. I couldn't ask for more consideration from staff.
Because of Dr. Morkos, my wife can function with a minimal amount of pain, most of the time. I can't imagine how she would survive without his care.
If you need a doctor for pain management, I could not imagine a better choice than Dr. Morkos. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know with chronic pain management issues.

I can't describe how great Dr Morkos was with me. I did suffer excruciating neck pain for few months. Dr Morkos not only treated the pain and made it completely disappear, he was compassionate, professional and caring. He worked hard to make sure I was comfortable all the time. I highly recommend him for any pain management patient not only for his great knowledge but also for his personnel attention that he gives to his patients.

After 3 years of chronic back pain, I had tried chiropractors, accupuncture, heat, cold, many drugs, accupressure, physical therapy, spinal decompression, an operation on my spine, several different back machines which I had purchased, nothing helped, and I couldn't work or function, and was in constant pain. I had become an invalid. After following up on a recommendation, I looked up Atef Morkos. After examination & confirming my acceptability, he installed a spinal stimulator in my back, and immediately, it began helping.

It has now been 11 months since the installation, and I am feeling great, I'm back to working full time as I used to, and leading a normal life again. I'm 73 years old and haven't felt this good for many years. I think Dr. Morkos was very caring and concerned about my health and welfare. I would, and do recommend him to anyone with pain such as I had. I have full confidence in him and his advice.

Awful - avoid Atef Morkos at all costs. He completed his education in Egypt and it is evident that he does not practice up to US ethics and standards, even though he has been granted a job here. He put my father at severe risk and we are contemplating a lawsuit against Dr. Morkos and the hospital. Do not put your life in his hands!
