Very brave opening up next to Moshman Dental! Especially with her reviews! Moshman's office is an incredible office! Best of luck. You may need it!

I do not know why patients are writing bad reviews about Dr. Katherine Friedman Hickey, I have had cleanings fillings and crowns done by her and she is the best dentist that I have had, I have been her patient for 7 years and she is AWSOME!!!

I've only gone for cleanings and have been content with the care, but she has terrible record-keeping practices. Three times (3) I had appointments and they couldn't find me in the book and had to reschedule. (Twice I showed up at the office and was turned away. I learned my lesson and called today to confirm my appointment. Surprise, no record of an appointment, even though I made it 2 weeks ago, confirmed all my insurance info, contact info, etc).

IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO TO HER, ALWAYS CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT.

This is the worst dentist ever. She is dirty and quite frankly nasty. When I went to her for a cleaning she only saw me for two minutes. She didn't review my x-rays when asked if I had cavity's she stated that I should come back for another visit, meanwhile, she had my x-rays right infront of her. This doctor is lazy and I don't recommend for anyone to come and see her. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST!!!! I guess now a days anyone can get a license, as long as you have money.

Please stay away from her dad as well. He is an oral surgeon located in her practice as well. He is a pervert and a pig. She refers patients to him and he shouldn't even be working @ 90yrs old.

I did not have my insurance card with me and the receptionist checked her roster and did not find my name. When asked to reschedule, I politely requested they call my provider. They refused. When I asked why, they said it was their policy. Friedman-Hickey said, "It's not fair for us to call for everyone who comes in. And quite frankly, I'm making $5 (my co-pay) from this appointment." Despite the fact that the $5 (not the call) seemed to be the actual reason for her rudeness and despite the fact that the receptionist was chatting on the phone about a beautiful vacation spot, I said that I understood and called them myself. Turns out I just needed to be transferred to her office, but Friedman-Hickey refused again, again citing their supposed "policy." I am shocked at how bureaucratic this was and at poorly I was treated. My tooth is broken and I'm insured by a group that they accept! I have very little sympathy for her $5 co-pay concern...why accept the provider in the first place?
