I have been a patient at the Einhaus Group for several years now. I have more than my share of office visits a year. Doc has always been straight forward with me and I appreciate that. She takes the time to fully explain procedures, test results, medicine and the expected effects of said medicine. There can be a bit of a wait in the office. I do not understand individuals that complain! I would prefer to wait and get the care mentioned aboved than to be seen quickly and have unanswered questions! I find the people that complain about the wait tend to believe the world revolves around them. If you are one of those individuals ... you may want to find a different OBGYN. Dr. Einhaus has always been compassionate with me. I have cried several times and she is always comforting. I currently like all the ladies at the office. Mindy is probably one of my favs and she just has a natural way of putting you at ease and she is professional yet goofy all at one! Moral of this review: If you want great care from an honest, straight talking, CARING OBGYN and her Staff .... Dr, Einhaus is the right choice. If you are easily offended, rude, or expect to see a doc as quickly as you get food from a drive thru find a different OBGYN!

I had a first appointment with this physician this morning at 0815 for menorrhagia. I arrived at 0800 and A at the desk said "Doc" is not in today and you have to see her, not the nurse practitioner.A said accusingly, "We tried to call you last night at this number..." . It was not my number. She said she could give me an appointment Sept.9. I sadly said nevermind and she said okay and seemed glad to be rid of the issue. No apology or anythingm

I LOVE the Einhaus Group! I've been seeing Dr. Einhaus for about four years now, and I would not consider leaving her for a group practice. There may be times I have to wait, but when it's my turn, she (or the nurse practitioner, depending on the reason for the visit) really take their time and TALK to me, sometimes drawing out a detail that I didn't consider important. Please remember they aren't just seeing women who are there for quick routine pap smears or routine OB check-ups...they are also treating women who are facing serious gynecological illnesses such as ovarian or cervical cancer, as well as the depression that accompany it, and they do not rush you out the door like so many other practices do. If you have to wait, most likely she is taking her time answering the questions of a frightened patient, or calming the fears of one who is lying on the table crying. (If you're an impatient person in the waiting room, bring your laptop...they have free wi-fi. If you don't have a laptop, in addition to various magazines, there are a lot of interesting books to peruse, and the amazing artwork on the walls is from local artists...take a moment to walk around and gaze at the artwork. It's the kind where you find something new each time you look at it.) To be sure, she shoots straight and tells it like it is, but I wouldn't have it any other way. She is full of good old-fashioned Southern common sense and practicality, and I know when she discusses my care with me, I'm getting straight, honest answers. If you'd rather go to a group practice and be seen by just anyone who happens to be there, and be rushed out the door, by all means, do so. But if you want in-depth care from a staff who really gets to know you and your circumstances, you should definitely check out the Einhaus Group for Women.

I have been seeing Doc for about 10 years!! I respect the fact that she is very honest and down to earth. I was told that I would never have children from the doctor before Dr. Einhaus-with her help I am the mother of three healthy children!! The nurse practitioners are fabulous and are always helpful!! The next time you are waiting in a room, think about whether you would want her with you during delivery of your child or at your routine checkup. Doc isn't for everyone!!! But she fits me to a tee!!!

On my first visit I waited in a room for over two hours before I finally came out to ask about using a bathroom. The place was dark, and three nurses were preparing to lock up for the night. They had completely forgotten I was there! I would have been locked in. On my second appointment, I was seen by a nurse practitioner. ( I thought the practitioner did a respectable job. ) Later, I was told abnormal cells had been found, and that I would need to schedule a biopsy. I made special arrangements to take the afternoon off work, and my husband made arrangements to drive me. Only an hour before, I learned that the biopsy appointment had been canceled with no explanation. I rescheduled for later that same week, and again made arrangements so my husband could get me there on time. And when we arrived, we were told again the appointment was canceled. Apparently, the doctor was out sick all week, which they must have known when they rescheduled for that week, but they didn't have the courtesy to inform me with sufficient notice. During this entire saga I was worried about my health and worried about what the abnormal cells could mean. The receptionist didn't even pretend to be apologetic. When I told her I wanted my records released, she didn't seem surprised. I have never met Dr. Einhaus, and I expect I never will. Her staff is completely inept.

I think Dr. Einhaus is one of the worst doctors that I have ever encountered. When my son was born and I was crying tears of joy she asked me with disgust "Why are you crying...Ugh, stop crying." Before that she was always very condescending at appointments and has a huge God complex. If you have another option for another OB/GYN it will be the best decision you ever made.

The nice thing about Dr. Einhaus is that she does not tell you something that you want to hear but tells you how it is and what needs to be done. I just delivered my second child with her and would not have wanted a different doctor - my first delivery with a different doctor was not a pleasant experience - Dr. Einhaus was wonderful and very comforting in the delivery room. She is very cautious with her care and your health in any circumstance. I would not go to a group where everybody is checking you and they do not know anything about you.

I have several complaints. The first ones agree with the other reviews of having to wait. I have waited for over 45 in the waiting room and when called to an exam room, I had to wait an additional hour before someone even came in to talk to me. That happened two visits in a row.
Several years ago I had to get a test and was placed in a room to wait. I could hear all the employees standing around the counter laughing while I was waiting a long time. Eventually someone yelled out which tests need to be done in which rooms. Tho no names were mentioned, I still felt violated that everyone in the office heard what tests were needed.
Very recently, I had to go in for a biopsy and I was very nervous. Cancer is in my family and I didn't know what to expect from the proceure. I voiced my concerns and nervousness to Dr. Einhaus and she made faces at me when I became teary-eyed. During the procedure, she did not explain what she was doing, and I said that something hurt. She said "Man. You are a pu$$y!" I told her I reacted that way because she wasn't explaining what she was doing. She became condescending as she told me what she was doing for the remainder of the procedure. I had to ask all the questions about getting the results and I felt like I was stupid and a burden to her. After I get my results, I will be shopping around for a new doctor.

I totally agree with Susan. I've been going to Dr. Einhaus for over 10 years now. Every time I go I have to wait forever. The final straw was my last 2 appointments. Two times ago, I was in the office for 2 hours for a 5 minute appointment, then the last time I waited an hour and a half for an appointment just to discuss test results, so finally I got fed up with waiting and simply walked out. No one even noticed. I will never go back again, and have found another doctor to go to now.

I went to Dr Einhaus about 10 years ago, when I had my first child. She is quite knowledgeable and frank - she doesn't sugar-coat things and will always "tell it like it is." To me this was not very comforting and her brusque manner led me to choose another OB for my future needs. Many women I know love Dr Einhaus, so it's just a matter of personal preference. She is the only dr in the office, so I frequently had to wait an hour or more to see her. Also she was often called away to deliver a baby, and I would have to reschedule.
