.

I saw Dr. Khan three times. The first time I was told he "didn't prescribe pain medication". I am a chronic pain patient, with no addiction problems. The second visit I was scheduled for a physical exam to become a patient, and decided I would go to a pain clinic for the rest as I was new in town. He finally did the exam after telling me "the appointment wasn't for a new-patient exam, and he 'didn't have time'", although no other patients were there. Third time I had a tick bite, and a severe headache and was told to come in. I waited 2 hours although the waiting room was empty. He the tick bite, and his retort was "I guess I have to prescribe you something for your headache since you have a tick bite that could have caused it." He did prescribe an antibiotic and pain med for the migraine? -tick-related? headache. I never returned. I planned on reporting him to the medical board but became so ill I wasn't up to it for months and decided to just not return. I would never recommend him for any patient.
