I have worked in the dental field for over 20yrs and over those years I have worked with many dentist and all though she may be my boss, Dr Kidby is one of the best dentist I have ever worked with. I usually dont pay attention to reviews people place on sites like this, because everyone has their own opinion and there are always two sides of a story, but when I read what some people wrote I just had to put in my two cents. Dr Kidby takes great pride in her work and she does her best to make all her patients comfortable and happy with what they are getting done. She is very thorough in her exams and if anything is found she shows the patients in a mirror where they might have an issue. Everything found during the exam is documented and reviewed again before doing the work needed. As an office we do our best in keep on time but on occasion an appointment may run a little late, but not by much, usually it is due to an emergency or someone came in late and the schedule gets thrown off. I also believe our prices are below the average for Santa Fe, because Dr Kidby wants to keep her cost affordable for everyone. I strongly recommend our office to all those I meet not only as an employee but as a patient of record too, she works on my teeth. Rebecca RDH

DO NOT GO THERE!! I went in with ALL my teeth and had several pulled out due to Dr. Kidby breaking them during the ??crowning process?. She sent me to Albuquerque to see a specialist and he said the teeth had to be pulled, there was nothing he or anyone else could do to save them. I can't even eat hard/crunchy foods at this point because I have no back molars. I recommended a friend of mine and he had three root canal??s done he had to get two of the three pulled out due to the same the thing- Dr. Kidby ??fractured? the teeth on him as well. Is this odd or what? Really two people and both of us had the same results. Then he said Dr. Kidby wanted to do another root canal and when he said he wanted to get it checked by the specialist in Albuquerque first, just to be sure it would not ??fracture? the staff there treated him like crap. So he moved on.
Another person I met said she also lost two molars and Dr. Kidby dug so deep trying to get the pieces she broke off out, that she drilled right into her nasal cavity! Dr. Kidby made it seem like no big deal and would not even talk to her about it.
On top of that the office guy is a total A$$...seriously a total jerk off. He is rude and loud and likes to grandstand.
Sad but true, there are more than enough dentist??s in Santa Fe to have to deal with this.

I could not have had a better experience with Dr. Kidby. She was patient and understanding. She gave me all options and explained in detail the cost of each.
Her staff was excellent and organized. My wait time has been very short each visit. I would reccommend Enchantment dental to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE. I cannot express my disappointment in service, professionalism and safety at Enchantment Dental in Santa Fe, NM. I had 3 unfortunate visits that left me feeling violated and taken advantage of (the visits were all within a 2 week period before my insurance ran out). At 1st glance they seem professional and helpful, but soon you will come to realize that they have no problem putting you in an uncomfortable situation and performing unnecessary dental work on you. The secretary (who is the husband of the Doctor) performed dental work on me while the office manager/dental assistant left to do work on another patient. During my visit while they performed cavity work (which turns out I only had 1 but they performed 3) they made jokes and criticized a patient that was in earlier. Not to mention the yelling back and fourth to each other and the Doctor singing Led Zeppelin into my ear while drilling away at my teeth. When they finished the procedure they left me in the chair with my bib still on and a mouth full of blood and water. I had to get up and take care of myself, which is totally unacceptable after a procedure like that with a numb mouth. Unfortunately I had a second visit for another couple of cavities, which I suspect were not even there. I arrived 15minuets late and received high school like glares from the office manager/dental assistant and secretary and soon after was strongly scolded by the office manager/dental assistant (not to mention I waited up to 1/2 hour for my last visit). When I got in the chair and explained to the doctor that my teeth from the previous treatment still were rough and sharp she said to me that maybe today was not the best day to do anymore work and that I should go home (I hadn??t even mentioned that I was still very soar from where she gave me the shot last time and from where she burred off my gum line at the tooth). I was shocked. We ended up doing just one of the cavities and would leave the other for another day. She started by numbing me with ointment for less then a minute before she began to administrate the Novocain into my gums with such excruciating pain that produced tears. It seemed as thought she was taking her anger out on me with the shots. The procedure went quickly which produced the question of if I wanted to proceed with the other tooth, I quickly answered no. I was then told that I should be fine for a year or more?? So again I??m not sure any of the procedures were really needed at all. Horrifying experience. It??s amazing to me that they are in business performing procedures on innocent patients!

Dentist worked on a tooth and told me to call if I had problems. The man at the desk was so rude and insensitive when I called back in pain and would not even make me an appointment to see the dentist, he decided I needed to see a specialist. When I went back to get my dental records all he gave me was a xerox one page copy, said that all he could give me. I don't have anything against the dentist but the man at the desk is going will run this office to the ground.

This dentist is a crook. Check your billing closely. The man at the desk is rude and insensitive. Will not recommend them and if you can avoid them, please do. Find another dentist.
