I have had nothing but positive experiences when I have had to visit the doctor. Her office makes getting my birth control perscriptions very easy. Dr. Knatz has taken time to sit and talk to me and explain the procedures that I had done and explained it in a way that I would understand, without using doctor jargon. I would highly recommend.

Long ago when I first started as a patient she was very nice, caring and easygoing. After many, many years as a patient I started seeing a strange difference in personality. There's been a big emphasis on New Age with her and I saw some strange behavior {jumping up and down in her seat and shaking all over like being electrocuted and announced she'd been in a "shaking medicine" workshop or seminar or something ...anyway, she was very "blissed out" and shaking like a nut like she was about to fall off her chair. It had something to do with energy I guess. Also, despite the fact I'd been a loyal patient for so very long I was being treated a lot like a second-class citizen. She just stopped seeming like the same person and she can be oddly uncouth and rude as well. She started barging in on me while I was still undressing....I mean, like 20 seconds into getting undressed, she'd barge in without knocking and then act like she did not notice I was startled and uncomfortable about it. I mean I'd be standing there half naked when she walked in. A Gyn. visit is awkward enough without that kind of behavior from the doctor. And she would do this each time I came in, { maybe my last 3 or 4 visits to her office}....I finally asked her if she could please quit {the first several times I just gave her the benefit of the doubt.......}, and after that she started knocking ! {WHY did I have to ASK for curtesy ?}. And no her office was never so wildly busy and chaotic that there would be any real reason for barging in.
I wondered about her state of mind, period. I was a big fan of hers for so long I'd drive to see her despite any distance {caused by her moving office, or by me moving to a different city, ect}. I am getting this off my chest so to speak because I was basically treated badly by her and think she needs a wake-up call. Her ego is inflated , and she didn't used to be that way. Also God help you if you offer any honest feedback about HER staff, who can "do-no-wrong", which is a bad attitude to have towards patients {she ought to weigh any feedback she gets and try to help her staff become more thoughtful instead of becoming resentful and defensive ,since her staff are actually human like the rest of us ordinary mortals and CAN make mistakes or offend patients ,it happens ok ?}. Where's the respect for what patients experience ? Well Knatz is perfect in her own mind so, forget mentioning anything that you think would help her office to be any better {again, it is treating patients as if they are liars and second-class citizens if they are resented for offering feedback...her staff can do no wrong or need no slight adjustments ? That sounds like egotism to me........}. Hopefully she'll snap out of it, she used to be the nicest person to deal with. And here is one staff experience I had....I had been waiting an unusual amount of time one day so I went up and POLITELY asked if I was next. The girl {not the usual main receptionist}, gave me an attitude for even ASKING. She then proceeding to inform me she'd been on the phone "THANKS TO YOUR INSURANCE" {her exact words}, and said she had "A LOT OF FUN", but this was not said in jest. It was said with attitude.
I never told Knatz about THAT one, since I had already experienced Knatz's "beyotch" attitude about an earlier rude employee. RIGHT, TREAT WOMEN WHO COME IN FOR MEDICAL HEKP AS IF YOU ARE DOING THEM A FAVOR. RIGHT.

Dr. Knatz is a straight talking doctor who will provide all the information a woman needs to make an educated decision. Dr. Knatz is extremely thorough and an excellent surgeon as well. Nurse Practitioner Arlene Faucon, is also top notch. Their approach is to view all aspects of a woman's health, not just gynecological. I have sent many women to this practice and they have all come away as happy as me.
