I can't begin to say enough great things about Dr. Konsker and staff. I was referred to Dr. Konsker by a friend of mine while having stomach issues. Dr. Konsker quickly helped find the problem and have been symptom free since. When I became pregnant right after the holidays, last year, it was such an easy process to confirm and get information. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Whenever I had a question, Paz always answered or called me back within a reasonable amount of time. She never made me feel like the problems were too crazy. She even went out of her way and contacted my insurance company so I could receive a breast pump (it was delivered the next day after she spoke with them!) Once I delivered Dr. K came to visit every morning with a smile on his face. He made the entire labor/hospital part NOT scary but as comfortable as he could. Like I said earlier, I can't say enough great things about this practice and the fabulous staff! I highly recommend Dr.K! :)

After being told I needed laparoscopic surgery, I chose to see Dr. Kenneth A Konsker. I can say that he was more than professional, helpful and compassionate. His bedside manner is impeccable. His nurse Paz is outstanding! I was treated with respect and not just a patient but as a person. After a complete work up with Dr. Konsker, I did not have to have any surgery at all. I am so impressed with this practice and would highly recommend it! Thank you so much Dr Konsker and staff. YOU ARE APPRECIATED!

Fake reviews! Rude & cocky physician. Konsker screams at her patients when they are the ones paying his bills. Run away asap!!! Greedy--- super sweet to get your feet in afterwards he treats you like crap. I fired him!!! I found a great OB who would listen to me and communicate with me. I am not just a number!!! I am paying you, therefore I am expecting respect and explaination from you. He charged my insurance close to $300 for an unnecessary progesterone blood test. I wasted several copays on this scam artist

Dr. Konsker and his office staff are great. I met him after an unpleasant experience with another Gyn doctor in Coral Spings. He was on call at Delray medical came in promptly and saw me and helped treat my medical issue. Once discharged from the hospital he fit me into his schedule and did my procedure the same day. I feel like he saved my life, he fix my medical issue and now I'm perfectly fine. Being new to the area I'm glad I found him and I will continue to go to his office. He is great and his staff is wonderful and friendly especially Paz, they are a great team!

I was referred to Dr. Konsker through a friend who has been a patient of his for 15 years and counting. I honestly can't say enough great things about him and his staff! He was always professional and answered any questions I had. After finding out I was pregnant with my first child I had an extremely horrible and annoying experience with the practice I was at prior to meeting Dr. Konsker.
For me personally, I didn't want a doctor who was going to hold my hand through the pregnancy and assure me on every little thing...that's what my husband is for! I wanted a Dr. that in any unforseen or forseen circumstance that my they will do whatever it took to save me and my baby! Dr. Konsker is just that. Fortunately my labor and delivery went smoothly and perfectly. Dr. Konsker walked in when I was ready to push and 20 minutes later he delivered my beautiful baby girl!
Honestly, I can say that I truly loved the entire experience and would highly recommend him!

Dr. Konsker has been my gynecologist since 2005 when I moved here from NYC. I have always found he and his staff to be professional, efficient, caring, and highly skilled. Two weeks ago he performed a uterine ablation on me due to a very large mass that was growing in my uterus. I have vasovagal response. Meaning I passed out Twice at the mere mention of there being an issue. Dr. K gave me medication to help me deal with the biopsy and then the procedure. When I didn't even know if I could make it through the biopsy I called and spoke to Joy, who was so comforting I was strengthened. Through- out the process Paz was right by my side taking care of me. To find an abnormality no matter what is numbing and terrifying. Of all the wonderful things I could say of Dr. K is I TRUST him. I trust that he will be giving me the best that modern medicine has to offer in a highly skilled fashion. He and his staff were kind and gracious when I was at my most vulnerable.

Dr Konsker is incredible. He diagnosed my ectopic surgery via ultrasound within two minutes and sent me straight the the ER, while the technicians at the hospital who had to confirm this diagnosis brutalized me for an hour and still weren't sure they could see it. I was treated with methotrexate and sent home, but Dr K gave me his cell and told me to call him if I had any pain in the days to come. Over the weekend I did, and he had me admitted to the hospital swiftly. I was monitored overnight as his behest. He showed up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning and after reviewing my information and speaking with me with the utmost respect (I cannot believe some of the reviews people are leaving saying otherwise!), he ushered me into the OR. My ectopic was caught JUST in time as it was beginning to leak fluid into my abdomen. Dr K remained accessible via cell phone for the days to come and explained everything to m family and me both at the hospital and at my follow-up appointment. He (and his amazing nurse Paz - enough good things cannot be said about this woman) quite literally saved my life, and I am forever in their debt.
He also delivered my beautiful daughter a year before via a c-section that healed beautifully. Dr Konsker is a wonderful, wonderful doctor and person.

I went to Dr. Konsker for the first time when I learned I was pregnant. He was the first and only OBGYN that we went to. He saw me through my entire pregnancy, answered every question I had, and was always extremely friendly every time I saw him. On January 27, 2011, I went into labor at 6:00 am. By 6:45 pm it was decided that I needed to have a c-section to deliver the baby. I was terrified, but I trusted Dr. Konsker, and at 7:50 pm he delivered my beautiful little girl. He saw me every day in the hospital, and when I accidentally reopened my incision he stitched me back up in his office instead of sending me somewhere else. He genuinely cares about his patients and definitely knows his stuff. And of course he is very easy on the eyes. All in all I am very glad to have picked him as my doc.

Even though I had medical issues that made the procedure more difficult, Dr. Konsker didn't worry, he just worked to solve the problem. He listened to my concerns, and calmed my worries quickly. He was great at explaining what was happening, how things would go in my procedure. I always feel I'm in good hands with Dr. Konsker. He really cares about his patients, and provides the best care for them.

I have a personal Gyno who introduced me to Dr. Konser and because of his friendliness i wanted to change almost immediately. He is so very warm and he has a way to make you feel at ease no matter how concerned you may be. I love Pat his side kick, they work AWESOME together, she smiles like there is no tomorrow and gives you a shot in the arm before you realize it. I have decided to keep my gyno of many years, but i feel very blessed that he had brought Dr. K into my life. He rocks.( not too bad on the eyes either) . I know he is very happily married. Happy to report that except for the normal disgusting discharge everthing went well.

Dr. Konsker has been my OB for 13 years. He has taken care of me through my late 20's when all I was concerned about was birth control, then through my 30's when he delivered both of my children and now as I enter my 40's and I was ready for permanent birth control.
Throughout the years I have always been treated like family and his office staff and nurses always make you feel at home. Dr. Konsker is always professional and talks to you as he would his wife. He was amazing when I was pregnant and was extremely supportive when I made the decision to have the tubal ligation procedure. The procedure was done in his office..it was quick and somewhat painless. Dr. Konsker explained the how's, what's and why's and made me feel at ease during the procedure, but that is his way. To me, he is what all doctors should be..compassion, knowledgable, kind and CUTE!!!!

I am 57 years old and have been going to Dr Konsker for over 10 years. I am also in memopause. I called on a Monday morning and advise the nurse Paz that I started bleeding on Saturday. She immeidately made an appointment for me that afternoon. After examination and ultrasound, he advised me that a bioposy was necessary. That was done immediately in the office. I came back on Friday for my results and was told that I had two alternatives, medication which had side effects, or a procedure called endometrial ablation. He explained the procedure and that would be his recommendation. I scheduled it in his office the following week. The gave me medication and procedure went very smoothly. I found Dr Konsker explain what he was doing and why. It was also great to get everything done so quickly. When he first started talking about the biopsy I was thinking the whole thing was going to take weeks. Instead I had results and the procedure all done within 10 days. I was able to confirm that I did not have anything serious in a week. His nurse Paz is also excellent and they were both very reassuring talking to me during the procedure. I am so glad that this is over, and if you have to have this procedure done, he definitely the doctor to do it. You can tell that he has alot of experience.

If I had to sum up my experience under Dr. Konsker's care in one word it would have to be.....perfect. He is not a typical doctor who treats you like a number, he treated me like I was a member of his family from my first appointment. Being pregnant for the first time, I had many questions and was very anxious. He really took the time in every appointment to explain any questions or concerns that my husband and I had. Even his wonderful nurse, Paz was always on point and available to come to the phone if I needed her at the drop of a hat. When it came time for delivery, I had developed hypertention and pre-eclampsia, Dr. Konsker weighed every option for us and discussed all the pros and cons of the situation. He performed a cesarean delivery for me in what felt like 5 minutes keeping a great light hearted attitude during the entire procedure. He made the whole experience feel very comfortable and relaxed. The incision was barely visible, equivalent to a hairline. My husband and I could not have had a better experience and could not picture anyone else greeting our son into the world. We are going to miss Dr.Konsker, Paz and his wonderful staff until we have our next child in a few years.

We are a couple from Port Saint Lucie, Florida and we had seen many doctors over the course of 5-6 years that did not seem to have any idea as to what may be the factor or factors in us being able to conceive. We were told we should see Dr. Konsker in Boca . I did like so many people do now and researched Dr. Konsker and came across these reviews. I must say there were some reviews that seemed a little disheartening but Dr. Konsker came at such a high recommendation from a retired Reproductive Endocrinologist that we decided to go with him. I will say first that the bad reviews on here are so far from the truth and almost obnoxious. My wife contacted him regarding here inability to conceive a few years ago after many failed diagnosis's from other doctors. After speaking on the phone with the doctor he had said he thought he knew what the problem was just through talking but to come in for an exam to confirm his thoughts. She was diagnosed with PCOS and he put her on two medicines that no other doctor had ever mentioned and advised to lose some weight and begin working out. Within a year we had conceived and unfortunately miscarried but he had said it was a good sign for the future. A year later we had conceived again and being nervous from the past issues we called him and he had us come in that same day to confirm the pregnancy. Before we left he told my wife that she was now a princess to his practice and would take care of everything in his power. Every visit went very smoothly and he was able to ease any fears and answer any questions we had. He made it very easy to entrust him with everything. His bedside manner is amazing. Some people may say he is cocky but I would say confident is a better word. He knows his stuff. Late in the pregnancy my wife had developed hypertension, he and doctor Lowe made all the desicions early on and prevented what I believe would have turned into preeclampsia and could have put our baby and my wife in danger. Due to their decisions and constant monitoring she never developed preeclampsia and we are graced with our baby girl. His office staff is on the ball and his nurse Paz is the greatest person. She answers every call you make in and always makes sure she talks with the doctor about your concern no matter how small. The whole experience has been unbelieveable. I really can't understand the bad reviews based on our experience and encourage anyone that wants an excellent doctor to help with a pregnancy or even getting pregnant to call his office. We will definitely be going back when it is time for number two!

Dr.Konsker is by far the BEST DOCTOR anyone can ask for. From my first appointment, I thought both he and his staff were so fantastic.
It's been over 8 years since.Dr. Konsker, has delivered my 2 girls in the last 3 years. I was high risk pregnancy for both, because of my age. I was never once nervous. I knew I was in great hands.
In the last few months, my periods were getting insane. My hormones were flying. I went into see Dr. Konsker, to find out within 15min. I was not menpausal, I had a fibroid in my uterus. Dr, konsker and Paz were so awesome, I was not embarassed at all. I really felt like I was going off the deep end. He got to the bottom of it immediatley. There was relief and concern in the same breathe.
Dr. Konsker scheduled and Ablation, this did not go as planned. It seems my uterus was to large for this. because of the fibroid. We than did the Novasure. It's been 2 weeks and I feel like ME.
From the procedure to the hands on caring. I can't thank Dr. K and his staff enough. Which is why I wanted to write this.
You won't get this hands on caring from anyone else. Dr. Konsker and his staff become a part of your extended family. What's better than that?

Dr. Konsker is hands-down the best OB/GYN anyone could have. He is a world-class OB/GYN who truly cares about his patients and the exceptional health care that he provides them. He was always available to answer any questions or concerns during the pregnancy and made me feel like I was his only patient. Dr. Konsker made it clear from the start that my health-and most importantly-the baby's health were his number one priority throughout the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery. He was there for me every step of the way and always made me feel 100% confident that my baby and I were in the best of care. Most OB/GYN's make the RN's do all the labor work and step in at the last minute for the final few pushes. But not Dr. Konsker! He labored with me for 2 hours-on his day off-and coached me through the entire labor and delivery. He even stopped by the following two mornings to make sure that the baby and I were doing OK. I recommend Dr. Konsker to anyone looking for the best in obstetrics and gynecological care.

Dr Konsker care was very good. He has helped me through 2 difficult miscarriages. Last Miscarriage was a second trimester lost, Diagnosed as incompetent cervix. And when I found out I was again pregnant he said I would have a cerclage at twelve weeks and assigned me to a hi-risk pregnancy Doctor Thomas Lowe to assist me with this pregnancy. At 26 weeks I had premature labor and went to Boca Raton Regional Hospital where the care was excellent. And Dr K and BRRH stopped the contraction and I was sent home after nine days. On November 30 at 12:45 my water broke and Called Dr K and advised him that we were going to BRRH. Dr k called BRRH for us and informed them we were on the way. We Arrived at BRRH at1:30. Had Ultra sound found my son was breeched. Dr K delivered our son at 4:02am and sewed me up very nicely. Dr K. Has Gone above the call of duty to make sure we had a successful delivery.

I have only been seeing Dr. K for about 9 months. I was referred to him by MY gyn Dr. Patterson. I have found Dr. Patterson to be one of the most comprehensive and caring doctors I have ever had so when he accompanied me to Dr. K's office for an endometrial ablation I was certain I was in good hands. Both doctors and staff were professional, encouraging and VERY personable during my procedure. I am so happy I had this done and would recommend both the procedure AND Dr. Konsker. My excessive bleeding has stopped and I am feeling great.
Following my ablation I mentioned to Dr. Patterson my stress incontinence and he informed me that Dr. K performs both the the evaluation and surgery for this problem. I was excited and relieved that I would have Dr. K taking care of this for me. It is an embarassing problem but he made me feel comfortable and promised he could help me. Ten days after my surgery, I am THRILLED beyond belief. He mentioned that a bladder lift is one of the most rewarding surgeries and boy was he right. No more leakage for me. It is truely life changing.
Be aware that Dr. Konsker works quickly but without being rude. I am confident that if I had any questions he would take as long as I needed to answer them all.
Although, personally, I find his nature very likeable I can see where some patients might miscontrue it as rudeness. I dont. All I want in a doctor is excellent care and treatment. I am not going there to make friends.
If you are looking for doctors that are knowledgeable and provide top notch treatment than look no further than Dr. Konsker and Dr. Patterson.

I am 31 years old, I have been a patient for 2 years, the doctor discovered that I have a endometriosis because my heavy and painful periods and a ultrasound performed on his office, he decided to put me on Depo provera that is a shot every 3 months that stops your period, consequently, this helps to reduce endometriosis and painful periods. Since my first appointment with him I got out of his office with a lot of questions without a answer, but I thought that the next appointment would be better, that never happened. He is very fast I have to give him credit for, but I like someone to get to know you, answer your questions and concerns as a patient and Dr. Kenneth is always in a rush and never took the time to explain clearly what is my condition, what I need and what is going to be the next step.
Sometimes he was in good mood, other days he was very rude and make felt like I was aggravating him. The environment in his office was the same, the staff one day friendly and most of the days not, what bothers me most is that Dr Konsker and his assistant were talking and complaining in front of me when he was performing a pap smear about other patients, which I found very unprofessional.
After 2 years of the Depo shot I ask for another alternative, he suggested Endometrial ablation, I did have the confidence in him to perform that procedure and after been treated rudely by him with no explanations and short cut answers on that last appointment, I decided to move on and look for a different GYN. Now I am very happy and comfortable with my new GYN, someone who took the time to talk to me, as a human being and not just interested in billing me and the insurance company.

2001 It all began I had to look for a new obgyn after my dr. for 20 years had retired. This as you know is never an easy job. A work associate mentioned his wifes Dr and how they had just had a baby girl delivered by Dr Konsker so I gave it a try...
I knew on my first visit I was in the right place. The staff was so welcoming, and the office beautiful and spotless, Next the exam well the best Icebreaker was this angel named Paz when she entered the room to take by vitals and get me situated; everything warmed up 10 degrees and you know how cold it can be.in those stirrups,,,,,,,,,
After the exam I dressed and Dr Konsker came back to talk with me and I felt that he had time for what ever questions I had and boy I am one that needs to know everything,, Very satisfied!

At 41, I get pregnant with my first child, My husband then comes into the scene and he agrees we are with the right Dr to care for our unborn children. I can't remember waiting 5 mins to see him on all those visits. Then 2003 by baby girl was born all went great..

2006 pretty much the same but the outcome was a beautiful baby boy

2010 I called the office and to set up an appt for my annual but had told the front desk I would need to schedule later because I was bleeding very heavy between periods and at the point Joy insisted I come in asap. two hours later I was in the office and after an ultrasoud found a polyp they took immediate action and did a biopsy and got my results fast. Lucky for me the results were good

To relive my constant bleeding Dr Konsker preformend a Endometerial ablation, This proceedure was explained in detail to me and my husband (who attended). The whole thing was seemless, painfree and exactly as explained to me. This was less than 2 weeks ago and so far everything is great and maybe no more periods ever.........:)

I would refer anyone I cared about to use him and his awesome staff!!!!!!! We love him.

I definitely would not recommend going to Dr. Konsker and regret my decision to use him . This was our first baby and my delivery was a nightmare. Dr. Konsker, in his charming way, was always doling out fake compliments, calling me sweetheart, and acting in a condescending manner. Every time my husband and I would go in for our prenatal visits with questions, he would act dismissively and treat us as if our questions were idiotic. He spent very little time with me, and never took any of my concerns seriously. His nurse, Paz however, was excellent, and was the main reason I stuck it out with him. I also agree with a previous reviewer who said that he was very rough with the internal exam. I nearly cried both times he examined me and I bled like crazy afterwards.

At my 38 week appointment, Dr. Konsker encouraged me to get an induction on Monday of the following week. There was no medical reason for it, but, this being my first pregnancy and trusting my doctor, I agreed with him because I was excited to deliver my daughter. Well, everything progressed accordingly with the induction and I pushed with no progress because my daughter was "sunny side up" and was not descending at all past my pelvis. After pushing for an hour and a half, Dr. Konsker came in my room, swinging his keys around his fingers and berating the nurse for not showing me how to push properly (which I had been but was exhausted). He also threatened me with a C-Section if I didn't start pushing correctly. At that point, I flat out asked him for a C-Section because I was exhausted and in tremendous pain because they had gradually stopped my epidural so I could feel the contractions. He looked at me, smiled that disgustingly condescending smile, and told me he had a meeting at 5PM so he would check back with me in an HOUR! I was very upset and told him I could not push for another hour. He became visibly annoyed and told me that it was " Boca Community Hospital's Policy" that he could let his patients push for 3 hours and that he could make me push for another 2 hours if he wanted and proceeded to leave for his 5 o'clock meeting. So, finally after pushing for 2-1/2 hours and my daughter not flipping...the nurse finally made the call to get me into surgery for a C-Section. I honestly thought I was going to die and have never felt more helpless in my life. The best part was during my C-Section when Dr. Konsker and the assisting surgeon were discussing college basketball. The whole experience made me feel like an animal. I am now going to the most wonderful, kind, and caring OBGYN at Women's Health Partner's in Boca, Dr. Feingold. Please do not make the same mistake that I did by going through a pregnancy with this uncaring, unsympathetic barbarian.

Dr. Konsker is very handsome, charming, and will lie straight to your face! I have been in the medical field since 1995 and found it insulting that a doctor would lie to patients. People put complete trust in the doctor to make life and death decisions. He was my doctor for my first baby, he said that if I didn't go into labor before my due date that he was going to induce me. He also stated the reason for doing this is because the mortality rate for the baby increases, which is ludacris! It only increases if its 2 weeks beyond the due date. The checkout person was rude, and would fight with my husband at every visit. She apparently didn't know how to use our HSA account, and was trying to overcharge us. My husband explained to her on numerous occasions even on telephone, which she hanged up on him! When I was checking out and she scheduled a follow up visit for me, I told her I would like a card. She then told me I had PREGNANT BRAIN! What healtcare professional does that? I worked at many doctors offices and it is customary to write a card for the patient of next visit. Just because she is too lazy to write a card and she also miscalculated the percent that we had to pay before delivery. Check her calculations and make sure you know what your insurance charges, dont expect her to know anything! Dr. Konsker had scheduled me to be induced on Thursday and my due date was on Friday. I believe that I went into labor on Monday because I was so mad at him! I wanted to switch doctors, but I thought it was too late to switch, I was 38 weeks pregnant. When Dr.Konsker would check how far along I was dilated he was very rough, which I would scream and bleed heavily afterwards. He only was gentle when my husband was in the room with me and I wouldnt bleed afterwards. I understand there might be some bleeding, but if I scream, which I can handle pain, so for me to scream is bad. Why have a doctor that I felt like cared more what my husband thought than myself. I went into the hospital on Monday and right away Dr. Konsker told the nurse to start pitocin right when he entered my room, without reviewing my chart or checking me! I had a detailed conversation with the nurse and told her about his ways and to watch him, and it wasn't medically necessary for me to have pitocin. She agreed and also informed me that the "moms" usually get all worked up when he comes into the rooms because he is in and out like a hurricaine, shouts orders ,and for me not to get all worked up when he leaves because that is what usally happens. The nurse didn't start me on pitocin, which would of hurt even more! I was dilating 1cm every 10 min. If she would of given me pitocin when Dr. Konsker told her to I would of been in more extreme severe pain and would not of had my epidural, which was a must for me! The nurse also informed me that he wanted me induced on thursday because he goes to the gym at 5 and golfs on the weekend. My Ob that I go to now routinely has patients from Dr. Konskers office that left. The doctors/mid wives there feel strongly that you just don't rip womens abdominal area open so it's convenient for the doctor. I told the doctor there what he did to me and she just guessed that it was Dr. Konsker,I didnt even tell her his name. He has quite the reputation for ripping women open with c-sections. This disgusts me! I had to go there for my post-op appt. and the nurse there assumed I had a c-section.
Dont let his good looks and charming ways fool you. Dr. Konsker also informed us that when he scheduled me to be induced that he would do the same for his wife. And gave us this long spiel which was good acting. He would never induce his wife for no reason. My labor was less than 1 hour, in fact I had to wait for Dr. Konsker to come to the hospital. He told the nurse to have me push and that he would come which he came 45 min.after he said he would be there. His office was just across the street. I am a perfectly healthy person with no high blood pressure nor was the baby in any kind of harm for me to be induced. The doctor at my ob now said that I was very lucky that I went into labor otherwise I would of had a c-section, which is a big surgery. If you dont need the csection, dont get it. I guess it works for Dr. Konsker because he gets more money, and he can plan the delivery. If there was something wrong with me or the baby I would get the c-section, but not to make it convenient for my doctors life. Do a survey of how many patients of his had a c-section, I also know that Dr. Konsker does have law suits against him. It was very discerning that I had to go through this which should of been a pleasant experience with having my first baby. Please do your research and dont get suckered by his good looks!

After having an AWEFUL experience with my previous OB, which is too long of a story to go into, I was on the hunt to find a new doctor. My mother went to Dr. Konsker as her gyno and has been very pleased with her service, so she recommended that I try his office. When I found out I was pregnant again, I called his office to schedule an appt. I was able to get in that week, which would have been impossible with my last dr. I explained to him and his staff the aweful experience I had before and how I was very nervous after losing my first pregnancy. That first appt. I knew I had found the perfect OB for me and my husband. Dr. Konsker and his staff are friendly and VERY funny. We were excited for every appt. Yes, there may be a wait some days, but nothing compared to the 2-3 hr wait with our previous dr. Yes, he is fast with appts. but that is only if everything is ok with you, he will and does take the time to discuss any and all of your questions if you have any. Luckily we had a smooth pregnancy, and delivery. He came and saw me and my husband every morning while we were in the hospital. My husband and I had a wonderful experience, and hope to continue with expanding our family with Dr. Konsker and his staff's help.

Dr. Konsker is an unbelievably gifted doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner, He takes his time with you and makes you feel like you are the only patient in his practice. His nurse Pas is wonderful. Joy, in the front always has a smile on her face. Most women dread their gyno appoitnment I enjoy Dr. K's office. I met him when I was 19. He was my sister in law's doctor. She had a very difficult pregnancy and was having what the doctors were calling "mini strokes" it was as if her body wasnt accepting her pregnancy. No oneknew what was wrong. Dr. K took her under his care and assured her she would be just fine as well as the baby. He took such amazing care of her and kept her spirits high. He took the baby a little early not to jeapordize her health. He spoke to my mother in the hospital. Took the time to explain why it was the best option. Five years later my sister in law has her beautiful boy as well as a one year old daughter that Dr. K delivered. I recently started going to him and am so glad I did. Unfortunately, I contracted HPV. In ONE treatment Dr. Konsker rid me of it. Moreso he rid me of my stress and feeling so down about myself. He is more than a Doctor to my family. He is like an angel. I would drive hours to his office if need be. I NEVER had to wait. Even if I did I wouldnt mind because I'm in the best of care. Those who complain about waiting must understand he's an OB! It is not his fault a patient goes into labor!

I went to Dr. Konsker because a friend recommended him to me because I was pregnant and I had gone to 2 other OB's and I was not happy. I also wanted one Dr. to see me and deliver my baby and I also heard he was VERY thorough when it came to pregnancies and at 36 I needed someone that would send me to the right specialists and do the right tests so we would have peace of mind. He was VERY meticulous and I was happy as far as that. Other than that I have to say I have some... well not so good opinions about him. He is VERY fast and he's in and out of the office so if you have questions you better write them down and make sure you ask him but be ready with your list. Also he circumsized my son and I had told the nurses to let us know when he was there that morning so my husband could be there for our son and he decided to do it without my husband there and the nurse called me when he was already doing the procedure which I was extremely pissed that he did not have the courtesy to wait for daddy to be there to comfort our son. Also when I went for my 6 week check up, the check up lasted 2 seconds but he was there for 15 minutes trying to convince to get the new procedure ESSENCE done so I can't have anymore kids. Do they get kick backs on these procedures is waht I was thinking... He also proceeded to tell me that in this economy I should not have anymore kids!!! My mouth dropped. Mind you, he has no idea our income to be making assumptions and surely that was not his place to tell me what I should and should not be having. I found that to be VERY rude and disrespectful. My firiend had a good experience with him and her husband was able to be there for their son's circumsicion so I guess it all depends on each patient. He is very coky but many Dr's are.

I am 58 years old and have been a patient of Florida Woman Care and Dr. Konsker for many years.
A few years ago, I consulted Dr. Konsker for a prolapsed uterus. I was a bit freaked about the whole thing and wanted to have a hysterectomy. Dr. Konsker advised me that while I could undoubtedly find a number of doctors who would be happy to perform the surgery, he felt that it would be in my best interest to try a pessary (a sort of diaphragm) first and see if that solved the problem. I realized that he was right. The pessary worked until recently but my condition worsened and it was clear that only a hysterectomy would permanently solve the problem.
I was fortunate that I didn't need the surgery immediately and was thus able to build my immune system and get in very good physical condition. I trusted Dr. Konsker and his team and expected a good outcome, but have been amazed at how smoothly it went. I had a partial hysterectomy (I kept my ovaries) on Wednesday, was discharged Friday morning, was off the pain meds Saturday and Monday was walking my usual 2.2 miles with my dog.
My criteria for choosing and evaluating a doctor is based on the quality of care and outcome. I'm happy to tolerate a bit of ego for such exceptional skills.

This Dr. Konsker is a cocky son of a gun that only thinks he is correct and no one else's opinion matters. He is too fast in and out and leaves you wondering what was wrong with you in the first place. the staff is also awful and hard to get paperwork from

If you are having a baby maybe this is the right doctor for you. But do not go see this doctor for anything gyno related-it will be a waste of your co-payment!! And if you need a copy of any test results you will be burdening the nurses- so do not even bother!!!

Please do not go to this office. The staff is completely rude and act as if they are doing you a big favor by being there. My new gynecologist has called Dr. Konsker's office 3 times in 1 week requesting a copy of my pap test results and they still have not sent them to him. I myself have requested a copy of the results several times and have not received them and that was over three weeks ago. I need a procedure done but the new doctor and hospital need to see the negative results of the PAP ON PAPER before they can do the procedure. This practice has zero regards for their patients. They just want your money.

I'm a 54 yr. old female, in menopause for last 18 mos. but started bleeding. Dr. Konsker performed a Hysteroscopy D/C and Ultrasound (right in his office) to biopsy for cancer and check for polyps....results were negative, just a hormonal imbalance. The next week, the Dr. scheduled me for an endometrial ablation (painless and easily done right in his office) which Dr. Konsker said should end any future bleeding.
It is now June 23, '09 and I just started to get another period which is scary, because I thought everything was over after the bleeding seemed to go away. the Dr. didn't prepare me or my husband that this could happen up to 3 months, but it did and I hope this is my last period...I don't want to go on hormone replacement to stop the bleeding. That is why I chose this procedure in the first place.

I have been seeing Dr, Konsker for about 5 yrs now and would never go see anyone else. He is always professional and very educated about complicated pregnancies. He will be there when you need him unlike others who sign out at 5pm for the day. Highly Recommended.

I recently changed from a previous gynecologist, and could not be happier with the choice I made. Dr. Konsker came recommended highly from one of my close friends for the procedure of endometrial ablation. I have the highest regard for her opinion, and knew she would not steer me wrong. Dr. Konsker put me at ease, explained my options clearly, and performed the procedure with precise care and perfection. I could not be more pleased with the service I have received while in his care. He helped me to be healthier and have a better quality of life.

without going into a long painful story....I mostly agree with "in it for the money".I went to hospital 2 days before he was scheduled to induce me because of spotting...was checked out and everything was fine. He suggested I stay and get induced instead of going back in 2 days, so I did. It was very late a t night by then and instead of inducing me, since that may mean I would deliver in the middle of the night he told the nurse (over the phone, I didn't see him at all at the hospital till the next day) to insert a ring to soften my cervix, which was more than 50% effaced already. Well, that ring ruptured my placenta, so I then had to wait till 7:30 in the morning to have an unwanted c-section. He also called in his office partner to help him, which is also unnecessary. They were both there for maybe an hour and to top it all off I got a bill from his partner for $2,700!

Konsker was friendly as long as everything went smoothly. Sugary sweet, actually. Halfway through my second pregnancy, I had a question for him, and he was very dismissive. At 38 weeks, I started having contractions - I called him, and went to the hospital at midnight. When I was 8cm, he told the nurse (over the phone) to give me something to hold off labor, he'd be in in the morning.
The nurse had a few words to say about that, and he grudgingly showed up, caught the baby, and was out of there in less than five minutes. He didn't let my husband cut the cord, and refused to collect cord blood. A few days later he made a comment about me having the baby so late at night. Well, I found out from the hospital staff that I was the first person to get Konsker out of bed after midnight in about two years, and he greatly disliked that. It seems to me that he's only happy when things go smoothly, as soon as he has to put some effort into it, his job becomes an inconvenience. Scary sticky sweet outside.

We have been patients of Dr. Konsker for the past 7 years and think the world of Him. He has delivered 3 of our 3 children and is scheduled to deliver the 4th on June 30th 2008. Dr. Konsker is the ultimate Doctor, he has guided my wife and I through times of uncertainty, taken the time to sit with us and calm all of our fears. We absolutely love Dr. Konsker, we have lived in Port Saint Lucie for the past 4 going on five years and we drive and have driven down to Boca to Dr. Konsker only to receive the best care, attention and profession service available. Dr. Konsker has had the same foundational and exceptional staff for the past 7 years which speaks volumes in today's economy. If this were not so, there is no way we would drive over 150 miles per visit! We could not imagine placing the health and care of not only our unborn children but my wife as well in the hands of anyone else. I could write books of praise regarding Dr. Konsker and his staff. They are simply the best!!

Dr Konsker is a wonderful OB GYN. I went to him for 5 years and he cared for me during two of my pregnancies and delivered 2 of my children. His office is really nice (his wife decorated it three years ago when he moved) and his staff is wonderful. I was in there weekly for about 5 months with both babies and never saw anything I didn't like... except for the wait times. Often you will wait for about 45 min before you see Dr. K.

PROS: Great, friendly Dr who provides fabulous care
CONS: long waits
