I normally go to a medical office for massage, so I was a little aprehensive about going to someone's house for this. I shouldn't have worried! Her work space is an artist's studio that is completely detached from the living space. She has obviously put a lot of thought and effort into designing a comforting space.

Kristen has a very calming personality. You can tell she is a skilled, confident therapist, and even more importantly, she obviously loves her work.

You could save a few dollars by going with a franchise or coupon site, but in this case, it is worth it to seek out a superior therapist.

I like this therapist's attitude. She answered my questions completely and honestly and in a way that made sense. She was not pushy about rescheduling, but I did set up a few more appointments with her. She is professional without being condescending; she was friendly and seemed to genuinely care, but was not overly talkative.

Most importantly, the treatment she provided was effective, bringing both immediate and long-lasting relief.

I hold my stress and tension in my neck and shoulders. My doctor couldn't do a whole lot about it but give me painkillers. When I went to see Kristen about it, she knew exactly what to do.

She put me on a plan to come in once a week for 3 months, then twice a month for 3 months, then once a month for maintenance. At first I thought that was a lot of massage, and I asked her about it. She said that since the problem didn't develop overnight, it wasn't going to disappear overnight, but that this was a proven regimen.

She was right! I am now into the maintenance phase, and I am not taking any painkillers at all. Besides that, my sessions are extremely pleasant. I have had massage from other therapists, and I always had to choose between treatment and relaxing, but Kristen is able to do both at once. Her quality of touch is amazing. This is definitely the best way to manage pain. I highly recommend this massage therapist.

I started getting massaged here because of back pain, but I got so much more out of it. I leave happier, relieved and tension free. It's the best feeling ever - they would bottle it if they could!

Kristen uses aromatherapy, a professional atmosphere and a comforting personality to put clients at ease instantly.

Sometimes I feel chatty, other times I feel like just being silent and relaxing. Kristen is great at accommodating both moods and makes me feel comfortable no matter what.

I work and go to school full time. There aren't enough hours in the day most of the time but I find that if I take time out for myself to relax and heal things come together much more easily and I am able to deal with the world with a calm, level head.

As a busy mom of 4 kids I often find myself stressed and need to relax and take a little "me" time. That's why I love going here for massage.

I've been getting massages here occasionally for a year or so. I always have a tight, painful pinch by my shoulder blade. I guess it's from being too tense, because all it takes is a really good massage and it feels better for days or weeks. She has a way of working out all of the little kinks and tight spots.

The main reason I get massages is just for relaxation and she is excellent at that too. It's so good that it's awful when the massage ends and I have to go back to the real world!

I enjoyed my experience from beginning to end. The office and studio were pleasant to be in. Both were decorated nicely and also very clean and professional.

She was accommodating to my schedule. I was kind of stressed when I got there, so she took time to talk with me before we went into the studio. I liked that (so all my massage time was spent relaxing.)

She found tight muscles I didn't even know I had! She talked just the right amount. She explained what she was doing when I asked her to, but she didn't talk so much that it interfered with my relaxing. She also taught me some deep breathing exercises to do at home.

This time I just had a 60 minute relaxation massage, but I can't wait to go back and try something else.

Kristen's business card says, "Remarkable healing, true relaxation, natural well-being," and I think it's very appropriate. It describes how I feel after being a client for just over a year.

I started going here about a year ago for treatment for chronic pain and numbness in my shoulders and upper back. She set me up on a pain management plan that took about 3 months to get me pain-free (and med-free!) for the first time in years.

I thought about discontinuing my sessions once I was feeling better. But after reading some research on massage, I realized that it would be in my best interest to continue receiving massage on a regular basis, even if it was less frequent.

So, I have been going twice a month ever since (more often when I can afford it), and I have never felt so healthy. I sleep better, I handle stress better, I recover faster from being sick, and I have more energy.

Besides that, massage feels really good. She combines the "relaxing" stuff with the "fixing" stuff so that you get the best of both worlds. I always thought there was just one kind of massage, but she has a whole list of work you can have done, including things with essential oils and massage just for feet or hands (I like the foot one since I'm a runner.)

She is a nice person, someone you feel comfortable with right away, but she's also very professional. I like her a lot.

And the studio is great. It's in a residential neighborhood, so it's small, but it's in a detached building on the property, so you don't feel weird about being inside someone's house.

Her website is outstanding. That's why I chose her in the first place. Go there right now to check it out if you have a minute.
