Dr. Marshall is a liar! Shes not looking out for the heath of your mouth. Shes looking out for the health of her wallet. I went to her after a root canal to have restoration work. It took several months for me to be able to start the restoration process, because I had an odd injury to the roof of my mouth caused by the anesthesia during the root canal. I complained several times about pain in the tooth and each time she had really no idea and wanted to refer me to another Endo. The roof of my mouth finally healed enough to start the work, so I went into her yesterday. I also needed her to look at a tooth I broke over the weekend. Her assistant took X-Rays then the doctor came in and reviewed them. She refused to start the work because, now I needed a crown lengthening on the previously root canaled tooth. Mind you this is the same tooth shes x-rayed 3 times over the past seven month and never did she say a word about crown lengthening. She also said the broken tooth would have to have a root canal. She never explained anything to me about the problems with the teeth or how they should be fixed. We never talked about what my budget might be for this repair. Nothing, it was just her, really her assistant dictating my course of treatment. .She wrote the referral and had her assistant explain why I needed to go to a specialist. I didnt pay to speak to her assistant. I paid to speak to her and have her give me information so we could decide what was the right course of treatment was. That's not at all the treatment level I got with Dr. Marshall.
I went to see a new dentist today and am very pleased to result. He did a complete exam of my mouth and even conducted a CT scan. The great news is that, I do not need a crown lengthening. And the broken tooth can be fixed without a root canal. He also took the time to explain the injury that I received during the previous root canal and exactly how that was causing pain to the tooth. I had prepaid Dr. Marshall for the restoration so she was doing nothing more than trying to add unnecessary services to boost her wallet.
Dr. Marshall has ZERO personality. She isnt interested in your oral health. Shes 100% looking out for the bottom dollar and I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. Avoid her at all cost!

I bought my daughter a groupon to have her teeth cleaned and an exam. After the cleaning Dr. Marshall came into the room for 3 minutes to do the exam. She told my daughter she had deep root decay in several teeth and the enamel was gone off her molars. She said she needed at least 4 crowns and had some deep cavities that needed to be fixed. She then sent her to her financial director who went over the drs. report and said she needed over $6,000 in dental work. She pressured her to apply for Care Credit and make an appt. to start work. My daughter was devastated but left and called me. We made an appt. with a reputable dentist in St. Petersburg for a second opinion. After new xrays and exam the dentist said there was nothing wrong with her teeth and she did not need ANYTHING DONE. This dentist is a scammer getting people in with cheap specials and then pressuring them into dental work that they don't need.

I do not recommend this dentist. She told me I had several cavities and the onset of periodontal disease. I went to get a second opinion and my new dentist told me that I have a healthy mouth and have NO cavities. This dentist is a liar and tried to scam me and my co-worker.
