Really appreciate the friendliness but most of all the treatment that I received. Dr. Vanstory is professional and takes time to answer your questions. I've seen her twice and plan to continue using her for any dermatology issue I have.

I have had several appointments with Ms. Vanstory. At each visit she has been very professional and knowledgeable about my condition. She took the time and answered all of my question concerning my condition and the treatment provided.
Yes, she does dress very nice, but it has not had a negative impact on her ability to provide appropriate, timely and effective medical care. I will make an appointment with Ms. Vanstory for my future dermatology needs.
Not only would I recommend her to others I encouraged my daughter to see her for her skin problems.

Horrible horrible experience! I too had the same problem with Ms. Vanstory and her unprofessional work attire! It was very discerning to see a doctor who I am supposed to trust dress like a young or even attractive schoolgirl when she is supposed at least appear like she understands what she is doing. I wouldn't trust his woman with directions to th bathroom, let alone any medical treatment.
She was ungracious and discourteous when I had simple questions about my procedure. After one consultation I left her office in a hurry and will never return. Do not trust this lady!

I'm writing to rebut Ms. McKinney's review from earlier this year. I have had the occasion to be seen by the same PA, but I would have nothing short of a glowing review for both her and the Polley Clinic in general. Both times I have been there I barely had time to crack open the book I had along with me (for what is typically a prolonged period in any Dr's waiting room before one is seen). Not so at all at the Polley Clinic. Without exception, all those working behind the desk, taking vital signs, etc. are extremely polite and professional. I don't believe I've spent more than 45 minutes of my time between the two appointments combined in their clinic; the first of which included having a biopsy done as well.

Now, as for Ms. Van Story in particular. Each time she saw me I found her to be meticulously and professionally attired, easy to talk to and a very active listener, and someone who does not attempt to impress you with her medical prowess. She relates what she is saying in simple and unambiguous terms so that anyone could understand. On neither visit to the clinic did her appearance remotely reflect anything of the sort as described by Ms. McKinney. During both occasions Ms. Van Story provided me with excellent medical care and advice with regards to my condition. Her prognosis of my malady and the prescription(s) she provided proved to adequately treat my condition. In addition, both times I was seen by her she provided me with samples of my perscription to get me started on my treatment immediately before I could visit the pharmacy. During my second appointment, she even took the time to address a separate minor medical concern I was experiencing that was totally unrelated to the reason I had initially gone in to be seen; and did so in a very gracious and helpful manner.

I can find absolutely no reason whatsoever to avoid either the Polley Clinic or Ms. Van Story; and I would most enthusiastically recommend her to anyone needing a dermatologist. I could find no basis for Ms. McKinney's character assassination, unless perhaps she was somehow intimidated by a woman who is both attractive AND without doubt highly educated/intelligent and experienced in her chosen field. The medical care Ms. Van Story provides is both competent and in this day & age... unequalled.

Shocked. Took my 12 year old daughter to this office because it was previously owned by Dr Thompson, who passed away a few months ago. The PA came in the room, with her white coat open, 90% of her false breast hanging out. Bending over my daughter, showing it all. How could someone possibly trust a decision made by a person of this quality. When I mentioned this at a luncheon a few days later, women mentioned that they had too gone there once. ONCE. Ms. Van Story after you get dressed, get the hint.
