Ive never waited to see her. Her waiting room is never packed, there is never a line and they never put you on hold. Dr. Evans returns calls herself and explains everything to you til you're confortable. She doesnt require you make a "follow-up" visit to give you the results like most do to get that extra copay. Her nurse is excellent. First rate care. There is not a finer Doctor anywhere. Ive never been treated better and I dont dread going to the Doctor anymore.

Dr. Evans is wonderful! Conversational, realxed and not the least bit judgmental. For women's health you can't do better- she performs the most painless pap of all time, and quick. What others have said I also witnessed- she is very thorough and patient. Many doctors could learn from her manner and practice.

I almost don't want to say this, since telling everyone will increase my wait times and crowd the peaceful and quiet waiting room but....

Underground parking. New building. Comfy waiting room. It was just missing some jazz music and I could have fallen asleep. I hate the sign in sheet, but that seems like the industry standard these days. The office is big and feels welcoming and warm. The equipment is brand new and the exam room was bright and spotless.

Very professional office staff--Lupe was a pro at everything from paperwork to lab draws. She can multitask and still be courteous. She actually knows how to get a bl**d pressure the right way (unlike many MAs and nurses I have come across who deflate the cuff way too fast,) her phlebotomy skills are the bomb too.

Dr. Evans was a bit late for our appt. but I go in expecting that and don't let it irritate me. She took her time with me and did a very thorough history and physical exam. I especially appreciated that she sat down and took the time to listen to my concerns. She was very patient and didn't seem rushed. The laptop and electronic medical records reduced our eye contact time but I will trade that in for accurate and concise documentation any time. She was very personable and didn't seem to mind listening, she was also informative and current on medical literature when it came to my personal health issues and concerns.

Hands down, five stars.

Pros: convenient location, parking, new building, clean exam rooms, electronic medical records, no fuss.

Cons: Anything good is worth waiting for. Only takes select insurances.

I have been seeing Dr. Evans now for about 6 years and have nothing but great things to say about her.

I started seeing her when she was part of another practice where the office help was awful, but she has since moved on to start her own practice in a beautiful brand new office and she has great nurse/assistant, Lupe.

Dr. Evans diagnosed me with a heart murmur that no other doctor had managed to diagnose in some 25 years. She has a great bedside manner, genuinely cares about her patients (she got me in to her office at the last minute recently and then called to follow up with me at 7 pm on a Friday night) and spends tons of time with you and logs every detail into her computer. I just can't say enough about her.

If you are looking for a skilled, thorough and caring doctor, then you need to check out Dr. Laura Evans. In these times, where excellent customer service is a rarity, especially in the medical field, she is a breath of fresh air.

In the past, I was used to doctors who rushed you in and out. It was frustrating and you often wonder what you and your insurance company were paying for.

Doctor Evans has her brand new facility (still has new paint and new furniture smell) wired for her computer network. She sits in front of you with a laptop, using state-of-the-art medical software to record the smallest of details. I seriously have spent 40 minutes one-on-one talking to her. This allows her to quickly refresh her memory on your past discussions, medical records, etc.

She runs a PPO business, which I really appreciate, as it reduces the number of clients.

Dr. Evans is also very thorough. She tells you what she knows and is self-aware enough to know what she doesn't. But what she doesn't know, she has a decent network of specialists to refer you to.

She helped in the diagnosis of an uncommon form of kidney disease that I have. Physicians in my past glossed over my condition and would try to explain away the pain that I had. Dr. Evans went the extra mile to recommend the appropriate testing that led to my diagnosis. Having that information and being referred to one of her specialists, I was able to make lifestyle changes to manage the condition. If I had been with my former doctors, I would still be in the dark...which is a dangerous place to be.

Five Stars!

This is the way medicine should be practiced. I was so impressed by Dr. Evans and the office. She is very kind and patient, and makes you feel relaxed thru the visit. She is very thorough in taking your history, addressing your questions and performing the physical exam.
Her staff also makes you feel so welcome. Lupe is at the front desk and is very friendly. I was also impressed by her phlebotomy skills. They have a lab in the office, and can perform blood draws, which saves you time in having to go to the lab.
The office only takes PPO patients which allows her to have a smaller panel size, so there is more availability of appts. and one doesn't feel rushed.
