Good luck getting anyone to ever answer the phone. This office has failed me as a patient on too many levels to list. Even my insurance company couldn't get them to respond to repeated voicemail messages and they were appalled at how many hours I have spent trying to get this office to do their job.

It is absolutely unacceptable to have no choice but to get in your car and physically drive to the office in order to speak to a live person. Especially when the only reason I needed to speak with them was to resolve an issue that had arisen due to their incompetence. Personally, I don't feel that a patient should be forced to take time off work in order to speak with the office staff. My time off work should be reserved for doctor appointments only.

Beyond the incompetence of the office staff, is the fact that when I expressed my concerns about what appeared to be side effects of Nuvigil, they were dismissed because what I was experiencing was not identified as any of the common side effects linked to this drug. And dont get me started on how Nuvigil lost its effect after about six months, which resulted in the doctor increasing my dosage to the max allowable.

Rather than listening to my concerns and discussing options, this doctor made me feel like I was nothing more than a number. No longer was I a patient, but just one of the many sheep to be herded along until quitting time came around.

So if that's the kind of service you expect from your doctor and his employees, then this would be a perfect fit for you. But I expect to be treated fairly and with respect. I truly feel that I have an obligation to share my experience with others so that they are not blindsided by unacceptable behavior from such an unprofessional staff of people.

The straw that broke this camels back was discovering that not only can you call and get voicemail, but you can actually stand in their lobby and watch the staff members deliberately ignore their ringing phone while leaving a message that will undoubtedly never be acknowledged, or responded to. I deserve better than that. And I intend to find a doctor who can treat me the way I deserve to be treated.
