I will not step foot in Dr. Lee's office again. He'll treat you as a potential contagion and will show you absolutely no respect. At every appointment he treated me as though I was stupid (I'm only stupid because I continued to seek his medical advice beyond the initial appointment). I don't trust his expertise nor do I respect him as a person.

If you are looking for a doctor to take the absolute minimum amount of time possible, to almost never touch you or actually do an exam, to try to understand your concerns with the least amount of clarity and to prescribe absurd medications which other doctors will look at with alarm, or an introvert in dire need of therapy for his anti-social behavior, Dr. Lee is your man.
If you want to listen to his dog bark in the office, non-stop while waiting for several hours in the lobby, or listen to the office staff gossip about other patients and their maladies or generally have them treat you with less care than the yapping dog, the Dr. Lee is a perfect match.
However, if you want quality care, understanding, timely call backs, accurate diagnosis and someone who has a current, clear understanding of medicine and medical procedures, then look elsewhere. I'm a little surprised his office isn't located closer to pond at Reid Park. QUACK QUACK QUACK!

I have been seeing Dr. Lee for about a year and I have nothing good to say about him. Here are some of my problems
1. Saw him about an abscess and I was supposed to get a referral for a surgeon (at least that's what the ER told me). He cut me open and proceeded to pack the wound with unsterile 4x4 gauze pads instead of actual sterile packing materiel. He never did a culture to find out what the base problem was. He didn'tt want to bother repacking and said I should do it myself (that's all fine but it is on my backside). All this with the door open for everyone to see my exposed backside. He prescribed antibiotics and after 3 days of continuing to have diarrhea, I called him and was told to take an expensive, over-the-counter supplement. When told I could not afford this his staff said well I don't know what to do. Still waiting on that.
2. When I asked if I could get an STD test (just to be safe) I was given the question Why?
3. Since suffering chronic nausea and vomiting most of my life, I was hoping to get some relief with certain medicines. Dr. Lee didn't listen to what I had already taken without any luck and ignored possible new treatments
Please stay far away from this Dr that seems to worry more about his religion and less about his patients.

The good side to Lee was that I had to wait less than 24 hours after I called to be seen and I was looked at 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Like other posts mentioned, he was on his laptop during the brief time he spent with me in the room, but I didn't really think it was a problem. It let him electronically send a prescription, though, so there was little wait on my end. The fact that he was in the room with me for about 5 minutes bothered me much more. My experience with Dr. Lee was very get in, get out; making it seem as though I wasn't worth his time. He showed no personality and made no effort to relieve my nerves. He was also a bit rude in that, after sticking a lubed glove in my rectum, he simply took it out, said I had hemorrhoids and asked me how I got them. I was blindsided with my pants down since I don't even know what causes them. He seemed accusatory and did not even offer anything for me to wipe the residue from the examination. He said sitz bath to me and, before I could even ask what he was talking about, he left the room. I hadn't even had the chance to zip up my pants. A nurse came in and handed me a referral without saying anything and I left without any sort of salutation from anyone in the building. I guess if you're a busy person who doesn't need a lasting relationship with a doctor, Lee would be up your alley. Everyone else should be warned.

Office was extremely dirty and unprofessional looking. He was one of the few providers in my area but almost walked out because of the conditions. I had to wait over an hour so that the doctor could verify my insurance, and they STILL billed me after they confirmed that it was covered. Horribly disorganized, unfriendly, uncomfortable office. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I have had numerous problems with Dr. Lee over the years and am now searching for a new doctor. Here are some memorable moments:
- Dr. Lee almost never recognizes me as a patient or remembers any of my history.
- I was prescribed Vicodin as a sleep aid and Xanax for anti-anxiety (to be taken together!), but he would not refill my Ambien. He has never asked if these medications worked for me or followed up on my symptoms (they didn't, Xanax gave me panic attacks and Vicodin knocked me out too completely).
- Dr. Lee cornered me for approximately 15-20 minutes at the end of an appointment to talk about religion after I had made it clear that I was an Atheist. This was incredibly uncomfortable for me.
- Dr. Lee routinely withholds my prescription for birth control when it is time for my yearly female exam. There is no call or request for appointment, even if I have been seen recently, only the unpleasant experience of not having birth control and then having to scramble to make an appointment. I think this practice is not only unethical but is insulting to me as a female. I don't care what his feeling on birth control is - that is NOT the way to remind someone that they need to make an appointment!

I became a patient when Dr Fielder was in this office. When Dr.Lee to over the office I was a bit hesitant, only because I did not "pick" him. I have been a patient from day one and will continue to be a patient of Dr Lees. I like that he always has a great, upbeat, positive attitude. I feel confidant knowing that he is balanced in life physically and spiritually, he has never been anything less than professional. I trust him 100%. And his staff really I cant believe the comments. His staff is always friendly (granted they don't hug me) and professional. They have gone out of their way for me in the past and thats part of the reason I recommend Dr.Lee and his staff.

I've been with Dr Lee for many years now. He's on his laptop checking to see the latest information on what ever the diagnosis he's giving you. He's on that laptop sending prescription to your pharmacy so there's no waiting. He cuts thru alot by referring to specialists that do something. I enjoy Dr Lee's sense of humor and his upbeat office. It's nice to hear the oldies, it's refreshing after listening to rap music everywhere else. I've never known him to be unprofessional ever, His office staff are very good at what they do. I've never had a problem with anyone but then I don't go in there and be demanding and rude.

Dr. Lee is one strange man...and super unprofessional. Not only was he on his laptop the duration of our appt., he tried to discuss his religious beliefs with me and others (which was very unprofessional). He is rushed for time unless it's to discuss his religious beliefs. I overheard some very odd conversations that were not health related. This was my last visit to Dr. Lee's office. Do yourself a favor and avoid Dr. Lee

For 25 years my family was cared for by the physician who preceeded Dr. Lee in that office. He was like family and was really great! So Dr Lee had some big shoes to fill. Getting to know him was sort of an unknown. We've been with him now for several years. Ouf family has been through some major health issues (like breast cancer, for one) with him now and I have never had a more caring doctor. He was right on the money with the diagnoses and treatments. I also found his kinder side when I sat in his office and cried in distress and he asked me if he could pray with me! I'm all about prayer and said yes. So he did, right then and there. I haven't been to any other doctor that would ever take the time to do that for me, he is so such compassionate. But he's busy, of course! You have to stay with him for a while, folks, so that you get to know his other side. Talk to him! He's exceptionally smart, witty, a humanitarian and a good doctor. But he can't show those other sides until he gets to know who you are and what your health and psychological issues are all about. Give him a chance and you will soon refer all your friends and family to him.

I was with Dr. Brown, but since he left, I transferred straight over to Dr. Lee. It has been very strange. He seems to think he knows a few things more than Dr. Brown, but they didn't pan out to be true. His staff is so rude and not personable at all. He thinks that I don't know my own body or what I'm talking about. I have been very disappointed and wish that Dr. Brown was back again! I think I will be changing to a new Dr. soon. Also, he seemed too busy singing loud rock and roll songs in the hall, to listen too much to what I was saying.

The appointment making process was very easy. Also Unlike that first review up there Dr. Lee is very funny and the office has alot of posters and random stuff that are really interesting. Also he cracks alot of jokes and such and is very nice. And he's a pretty good doctor as well, I was in and out just like that.

I took my daughter to Dr. Lee one time, as he was just a few blocks away, but then immediately switched to another doctor. Dr. Lee's office is nice enough, old-fashioned but very clean. His office staff are a bit uninterested in their clients and definitely don't bother to be concerned with confidentiality - I could hear every exchange at the reception window as well as down the hall. Dr. Lee is probably quite efficient but I never saw him smile once. My pre-teen daughter was very uncomfortable with her visit for a school sports physical, and so was I. No other doctor before or since wanted to do a gynecological exam for a pre-puberty girl! My son at 19 was comfortable enough with his single visit, but found Dr. Lee to be rather unsociable. Perhaps we're expecting too much, but we like a doctor who seems like he's interested and cares.

PROS: easy to get in - or was when I made appointments
CONS: not much personality
