Myself having a child which has had big obstacles to overcome with his health and reading these complaints about Dr. Lindsay I find puzzling. He has been my Son's Doctor for years and He and His staff have been unbelievable to work with. I find it hard to believe Dr. Lindsay would simply "go off" on you and start yelling especially with other people around you. There is alwasy two sides to each story and I am sure his (what you call yelling) was founded. Do you honestly think he is going to Tee Off on someone for no reason, lose business, bad publicity and the most important the health of any child? ilness is not always an exact science as you shoud be aware of however if you feel your child is that ill, I would recomend going strait to the ER and not a pediatrician. You know your child better & know their surroundings better than anyone, common sense usually prevails. I am sure there is a totally other side to these complaints. Dr. Lindsay would not be in business as long as he has, unless he was very good at what he does.

I provided the Dr with info about what my kids we having problems with, my son: cold hands and feet, shallow breathing, a fever for 5 days, coughing, lethargy, etc, Dr Lindsay sent us home saying it was just a virus, give him motrin. Two days later he was admitted into the hospital for severe dehydration, and his lungs were full of fluid which is pnemonia. We the nurses called him on it, why didn't you notice this two days ago, he only had excuses. My son could have died, his lips were blue and he could hardly breathe.
My daughter's neck was so swollen she couldn't move her head or swallow her spit, but he sent her home with tylenol with codiene saying it was a virus, so the next day she was admitted to the hospital. Her throat was almost swollen shut and the abcess was so large it almost cut off her main artery in neck. He didn't want to double check to see if it was gone but I insisted and he yelled at me in the hospital room and said maybe I should find another provider. I have and she has already found out what was wrong with my son in one visit (3 wks of diarrhea and vomitting) Dr Lindsay sent him home, this Dr found strep throat. I don't trust him at all. He lied to me several times and he doesn't take the time to find the real problem. Be careful if you use him, he's a careless man.

We took a parenting class at our hospital before the birth of our son. The guest pediatrician speaker they had there was Dr. Lindsay. We liked the way he presented himself and decided to talk to him after the presentation. We chose him as our son's pediatrician. We have been nothing but pleased with the service and care we have received. He did my son's circumcision and did a wonderful job. He is the only pediatrician we have taken our son to. We have recommended him to our friends and they like him as well.

He seems to go along with our parenting stand point and was very supportive and encouraging of me breastfeeding which was great for me. I think he shows a lot of concern for my child and answers any questions I have.

I read the previous review/complaint and while I value her opinion and feel bad that she had a negative experience, I really feel like Dr. Lindsay was just showing his passion for what he believes. While he shouldn't have raised his voice, he is well within his right to refuse service if she is asking to do something that he doesn't agree with - just as she is well within her right to spread out immunizations if she chooses. Just as we as parents are passionate about our child's health, I find comfort in having a pediatrician that is also passionate in his beliefs and how they relate to my child's health.

I will be using him for our next child and would recommend him. As with any doctor, meet with him first and see if his personality/way of thinking is something that you are looking for before choosing him. For us it was a great choice.

I had the bad experience of trusting a friends recommendation to see Dr Lindsay. We had him actually yell at me in the doctors office and refuse to see my children anymore because I wanted to spread vaccines over 2 visits...totally within CDC protocol. He was argumentative and accused me of putting the whole community at risk. He did yell..and did so in front of my other children that were present.
I would never step foot in his office again.
