I got stuck in heavy traffic and was abt 10 min late for appointment. I called a couple of times to let them know I would be late and to hold my appt open. I was told it would not be a problem. When I arrived I was told by the receptionist that I had missed my appt and would have to make another for the following week. I told her I had called to let them know but she insisted I could not see Dr Loudermilk that day. I asked for her supervisor, explained the situation, and she said she could work me in as she could. The receptionist was surly to me for the rest of the time. I waited in Loudermilk's exam room for 20 min or so. I was able to read a considerable part of my book while there. This was after a very long wait in the waiting room (I understood the reason for that). After he examined me, Loudermilk told me the reason I had sleep apena was due to the fact that I was overweight and over 50. I explained to him that I had had the problem ever since childhood. He told me that I probably thought I had had it as a child but this was a condition that was often caused by being older and fat. I explained to him that when I was 8 yrs old, my brother had recorded my snoring and played it back the next morning to my horror. Loudermilk didn't explain what I had to do completely and when I left his office, I thought I would be notified about the sleep study. A week later I called the office and, after a lot of waiting, finally got to talk to someone live and was told that I should have done that when I was there. He was short with me when I went back for the study results. More recently, I needed to get a script for parts for my CPAP machine and tried to contact the office as to what I should do. I left emails, messages, and even talked to a live receptionist. No one has called or emailed me back. It was a frustrating place several years ago and apparently still is.

My daughter had tubes place in her ear when she was 14 months old because of frequent ear infections. Our pediatrician recommended this office for their outstanding work. While I agree that the work done was good, every time that we have had an appointment there, we have had to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour extra. Then when we get in to see the doctor we wait in the room for at least 15 or more minutes, for what seems like a 2 minute visit.
