I haven't been to physical therapy before so I didn't know what to expect. When I arrived for my first visit, I was welcomed by a kind receptionist to a clean location, which made me feel good. I really liked the loft like atmosphere, not only is it "characteristic" to the South Loop, but it lacked the "sterile" feeling you get from other medical locations. My issues were in my neck and upper shoulders, a result from an accident earlier this year. I was happy to see my therapist assess me not only by physical examination, but by listening to me describe when and how I felt pain, and telling her what daily/usual things were causing me to struggle and were painful. She worked with me through skilled massages on my muscles, stretches, and exercises, to get me back to "normal" and pain free! I was also grateful that they made the insurance "paperwork" easy and pain-less. Thanks Elite.

I don't know who Epudd is. But I am one of the owners. All I can say is that although you cannot please everyone, quite frankly, the personal and rather angry review, seems to suggest an ulterior motive here, and perhaps a little axe to grind. I I have a feeling that I know who this is

I will however address a couple of issues.

Equipment: If you are looking to walk in and be given a bunch of exercises to do on some shiny equipment, we are not for you... We believe in low tech, hands on therapy using, believe it or not, Skill and training. We do however have all the standard stuff such as treadmills, eliptical, and bike. Plus a Pilates reformer

Clinic size: Here is the break down
700 Sq ft main treatment area
Two private 7X8 rooms
One private 12X12 room
One 17X17 specialized testing room
Then the waiting area and staff room

Al together 2200 sq feet.
If that is smaller that other places private rooms... I suggest that maybe you have been going to a gym.

"Dank" and dirty... That is, well, just ridiculous. The building is owned and headquartered by one of the largest real estate developers in Chicago. To suggest that they would keep their building, or allow us to keep it in dank and dirty condition is just fantasy.

All I can suggest is that you come by and look for yourself. We give a free first visit screening. If you don't like it, don't come back. But if you have some personal axe to grind.... Just stay at home and let legitimate people give a constructive review.

Either Epudd is one of the owners/therapist or he went to a different clinic. The place is small. There's more room in some of the other places examination rooms. The office was dank. The place looks like it's closed. The therapist had two patients at the time and acted like a chicken with her head cut off. Some other guy came in at one point, Jerry or Jeff or something, and was the most uncomfortable, unpleasant guy I have ever met.

All I could think of the entire time was leaving and finding a new place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You're better off ANYWHERE else.

I started going to this clinic a few weeks ago. They were great. In response to an earlier review, I thought the place was big enough.. I'd say about 1300-1500 sq feet. There is only 1 Therapist there, Rebeca, and she couldn't have been nicer and the front office guy was kind of quiet if anything. They spent time with me and went through a fairly extensive evaluation. The only issue is the Building... There are a bunch of for lease and for sale signs all over the building, even on the clinic sign itself, so it looks like they are out of business. Apparently the landlords just put those up.

Elite physical therapy is like a poorly run shack. They have a tiny clinic with out of date equipment, therapist who try to make jokes, but make you uncomfortable, and a front office staff that caters to themselves and make personal calls and personal jokes, many of which are inappropriate.

Small, dark, with no "amenities" (like a clean floor), and therapists with the personalities of trees should dissuade you from going to this awful excuse for a therapy clinic.

No generic care here. Detailed and thoughtful approach to my care... Couldn't be happier

I had been having Therapy with one of the bigger clinics in Chicago for several weeks, with little result. I spent 4 visits here with individual care and I haven't had a headache in 6 months. Great people and a great clinic
