I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor or their staff. Dr. Mullanax spent less then 1 minute with me and ran off and did not address all of my concerns. He did not give me time to ask any questions nor did he explain any of the 4 prescriptions he wrote me. This was the second time this has happened!! First time, was a different doc within the same practice. I told the lady at the check out counter how disgusted I was.. she could have cared less. I called the office manager, Terri, for 5 days straight before she called me back. She was rude and unprofessional and made excuses for the doctor. Example: "we're busy towards the end of the day" and "well... you should have spoken up to him about it". Did she seriously say that to me?? I asked for a refund of the money I paid (out of pocket) as I did not get what I needed. I talked to Terri on a Friday and she told me that she'd call me the following Monday. That was two Monday's ago and I still have not heard anything back. Now I'm being told that they have to send my requests to corporate and it will take 4-6 weeks to hear anything back. Hmmm... wonder why Terri didn't mention this when I spoke with her?? You'd think the office manager would know these sorts of things. Did I mention, I waited in the lobby for over an hour!

I fully expect to be given the run around and never see the money they stole from me again. Stay away. Find another dermo!

When I first called they were not able to give me an appointment, not sure who the person was but it appeared that she was not familiar with the scheduling system so she just dropped the call!! After dialing the number again somebody else answered the phone and I got the appointment at the South office.
3 hours before my appointment I got a call from the office letting me know that Dr.Berlin was sick and they needed to reschedule my appointment. Luckily I got one for the very next day at 2:30pm.
When I got there the next day I was told by the receptionist after 15 minutes (!) of wait that my appointment was at 1:45pm and that I was late. I told her that her office had called me the day before and had told me to be at the office at 2:30pm. She then said again that she had me down at 1:45pm but that she could give me an appointment at 2:20pm. I was stunned since it was already 2:40pm! I asked her how that could be but she wasn't even listening! She then said that she wouldn't know how long I had to wait since Dr.Berlin had only one nurse supporting him. I left the office with an new appointment for the following week since I couldn't wait any longer. Obviously, I am looking for another dermatologist!
What do these people think? We are also working and have to leave our office in order to show up at the Doctor's office! They probably think since we have the necessity they can do whatever they want with us! Ever heard about Customer Service in the Healthcare industry???

This company has the worst office staff. They are rude! Stay away! The worst customer service ever. They treat you like your trash. Dr. Mullanax use to take care of problems. When I asked to speak with him, I was denied. They told me they were under new owners and they would not give me a phone number to report my concerns. Dr. Mullanax is a good doctor. The staff are evil.

My mother recently had an appointment scheduled with Mullanax Dermatology. She was scheduled to be seen at 811 West I 20, #G-40 inside the USMD Hospital in Arlington. Notice I said "scheduled". Upon her arrival she was asked to sign in. My mother was immediately taken aback. As she began to sign in she was able to read each and every persons first and last name that signed in before her. My mother works in the healthcare field and knew immediately that this is a direct violation with the Hipaa laws. When my mother kindly mentioned this to the receptionist, her loud and rude reply: "They know. We are under new management and this is what the executives require". Needles to say my mother cancelled her appointment on the spot and shared with me this experience. Things that make you go hmmm... It makes you wonder what else do "they" know and don't care about. We only recommend this facilty if you dont' mind being VIOLATED.

My friend works for Mullanax and informed me that the office manager has been involved in insurance fraud activities for several years. New ownership is aware however continues to have this person in a supervisory role. They don't refund patients when appropriate however still bill them when refunds are due. The practice also had the entire server stolen several months ago "Arlington PD report public" under Dr. Mullanax and didn't inform patients of the potetial identity loss which is direct Hippa violation. I have experienced office management to be extremely rude from both the north and south office.

I have been their patience for a long time now, and every time I call to get an appointment with Dr. Lisa, I have problems with the staff. Though the doctors are very good here, their staff is extremely rude. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone; there are plenty of other good doctors out there. Even if you have an emergency I can assure you, you will not get an appointment for at least 2 weeks; even if you say its emergency their staff will just say ??no appointment? and bang the phone, that??s how rude they are.

I highly recommend using Dr. Lisa Ostrowski from this office. I have been batteling mild adult acne since my mid twenties. I have went to a handful of Dermatologists for EVER!! She is the only one that has helped me.... I am so thank ful to her and her staff. Only one time have I waited long to get into see her, and that was only because the office had an emergency. If you are looking for a dermatologist call Lisa!

I've recently moved to the DFW area from Houston, and the Mullanax Dermatology Clinic was recommended by a MD for skin care treatment. I scheduled an appointment for a Dr. Mullanax at 9:30AM, and at 10:00AM after waiting 30 minutes I was told that he wasn't working at this clinic that day, and I was asked to reschedule, at that point I told them not to worry about it since I wasn't coming back.

Mullanax Dermatology is truly one of the best choices in the area for your skin care needs. I saw the Physician Assistant, Lisa Ostrowski, and she far exceeded my expectations. She not only took care of my medical problem, but she also introduced me to Revale,a new skin care product to use on my face. The staff was very friendly and caring, and they also scheduled me an appointment a lot quicker than what I expected. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

They have mismanaged the medical paperwork, notified me of medical information that was misinterpreted by the desk clerk, and scheduled my appointment days on the wrong days. Seriously reconsider going to this clinic for any medical treatment.
