Dr Lopez was a tremendous help, she could see that my illness was the cause of my behaviors and no that I was a bad person. Because of my issues I pushed everyone in my life away and had no one, she gave me the support I needed to over come them and with treatment I am a changed person. Thanks to this woman I will hopefully have a second chance to prove myself to all those I hurt. God bless her!

Dr. Lopez, is one of the kindest Doctors I have ever had the pleasure dealing with. Her diagnosis and treatment options for me have improved my quality of life. I have recommended her to all of my friends. She gave me options everyone else never did. I am truly thankful to have Dr. Lopez come into my life.

I was referred to Dr. Mabel Lopez by a parent in my sons class. Although the other parent had never seen her for her own child she was just a close friend and said she just started her practice but was knowledgable. (should have been my first clue) my sone was getting poor grades and his teachers said he should be tested for ADHD. I took him to see Dr. Lopez and after she canceled out first appointment the day of (second clue) we showed up on the day for the rescheduled appointment her front desk woman was rude and abrasive Dr Lopez came out and looked disheveled but I went with it still. she advised me it would take a few hours if I wanted to come back. I reluctantly obliged and got a coffee around the corner. I came back 45 min later to my son sitting in the lobby waiting for me and visiabily upset. I asked to see the Dr. and her rude receptionist said she already left and would call her when the report was finished. I was shocked not only did they just tell me it would take hours and in less then 45 min did they finish but when I got the report it listed several tests give to my son, when I took it to another Dr. He said it was impossible for her to have given those test in that time. Which I believe makes her a LIAR! This was the biggest wast of money and not only would I not tell you to go see her but if you have already seen her I would tell you to bring any report or diagnosis she gives you to a second opinion ASAP!
To top it off I asked the woman that referred me what her deal was and she listed some of Dr. Lopez's personal issues, if I heard that before I went I would have never brought my son there or left him alone with her! This woman needs help she is a LIAR and a lawsuit waiting to happen!

I to was revered to Dr.Lopez for my wife's dementia by her neurologist. It took several weeks to get her in which is understandable because eshe was so highly recommended. However when we finally arrived for our appointment we found out it was because she was on vacation and was backlogged, again fine. However while sitting in the waiting room before our appointment she came out to talk to her receptionist and was discussing another patient right in front of us. I found this very unprofessional since it was clear she made no effort to hide any of the patient info they
were discussing. When we finally got in to see her she was very distracted using her phone (and trying to hide it) I maybe old but not dumb! She glazed over our questions and practically pushed use out the door. I told our neurologist about the experience and he said he has been getting similar feedback and will not be using her anymore. He apologized and all is well just had an expect ion that was far from met!

Dr. Lopez is an expert in diagnosing dementias. She really impressed me my husband's neurologist with her thorough evaluation.
To the person who claimed Dr. Lopez misdiagnosed Alzheimer's disease but now your "mom is doing much better with medications"- you are clearly in err, sir. Alzheimer's disease does NOT improve with medications. Hence, Dr. Lopez was clearly correct and your wife does not have Alzheimer's is probably having a conversion disorder or some other psychiatric manifestation, that you are feeding into and making worse. I'm a retired psychiatrist and am appalled by your harsh review- just had to comment. I would advise you to return to Dr. Lopez and get your wife some real help versus hiding behind your review.

Dr. Lopez exemplifies professionalism and excellence of care. I was impressed by her thorough knowledge of movement disorders and background/training. She takes her time and listens. She helped coordinate services with my PCP and neurologist.
