Dr. Leet was the doctor I saw, he had started late which put my appointment behind, and when he came in and spoke to me I could tell he was rushed, asked a few questions wrote out a perscription and he was out the door! I took the medicine he gave me, I needed something badly, it worked and I am glad. but the experience with him was not one that I would like to go back for. The practice seems to commercialized and everyone is a number, not a patient.

My husband saw Dr. Benevides recently and had a great experience with him. He was very nice and professional. He was late (by 40 min.) for the appointment and they still worked him in. My husband highly recommends him!

From the review I read about the unpleasantness caused to the patient by the doctor I definitely will not be seeking his services. I am in constant pain already and I do not need more caused by anyone else.

I had a stroke a couple of years ago, the recovery involved retraining myself to urinate. Though this has been done, he put me on a program to return every 6 months or so.

I noticed a urinary infection about 12 months ago. I went to see him, my appointment had been canceled because he was out of town. I was told to come back and see a MP the next day. The MP was excellent, and got a anti-biotic that cured the infection.

6 month's later I returned for another checkup. This time Dr. Leet was present. Immediately after my urine sample, he came in and rather coarsely asked me? What is this? Your white cell blood count indicates an infection? Why?.

I am not a doctor, which I indicated, this seemed to irritate him. He asked if I was draining my bladder OK, which I said yes ( I also indicated that I had not noticed any pain or irregularity, I had had an infection 6 months ago). He then said that I should be tested at Rex for bladder flow (what later turned out to be at his own practice there). He seemed fairly irritated by my seeming infection, and my lack of awareness of it.

He scheduled me for the test at REX and another checkup a week later.

3 days later I got a call from the lab. My test had come out excellent. I asked them why then Dr. Leet acted the way he did. The answer was that he could not have known what the test results where. I assume he had read the 6 month old report.

I called back to Dr. Leets office to find out what had happened. At this time I found out he had recommended additional treatment at his own REX practice. When I asked the Nurse why he appeared so angry and why he would make the statements he made, which he could possibly not know. She asked me What? I repeated, she hung up on me. I did not use any kind of strong language or anger.

I called back and cancelled all appointments with Dr, Leet. I recommend all of his patients to double check the plausibility of his sudden anger.

Marc is both an outstanding technition and a compassionate individual who truely cares for his patients. I have had 4 other urologists and none even come close to his total care. Obviously I would highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Leet when due to an elevated PSA. I have found him to be attentive, compassionate, and concerned. Being somewhat of a cynic, I researched Prostate Cancer in depth. Although I do not like the recommendations he continues to make, based on all of my own research, his recommendations are appropriate and consistent with current standards of practice.

Dr. Leet understands that I am stubborn and singularly focused on my personal goals, and listens to me complain. He then reminds me that his goal is to cure my cancer. I leave his office feeling that he respects me and respects my feelings, and also that he is determined to make me well

My GP recommended me to Dr. Leet when I asked for a simple vasectomy procedure. God knows why. I told the Dr. that I had a trip to Europe coming up in about 2 weeks and he said that would be no problem and I would be back on my feet in a couple days max.

Dr. Leet is apparently an "old school" holdback who uses a scalpel for the procedure. The procedure itself was very rushed...he made the anesthetic injections and then went immediately to work without waiting for it to take effect. The operation was quite painful...I spoke with friends who have had this done and they said that after the injections there was no pain at all because the Dr. waited about 5 mintes for it to take effect.

I found out after my operation that the complication rates for the newer and universally accepted NSV (non-scalpel vasectomy) are orders of magnitude lower. After my procedure I had heavy swelling and bruising on the left testicle. I went in for a follow up appointment (1.25 hours in the waiting room) and was told that the bruising/swelling is "normal". I have since learned that it is anything but, and that I have a scrotal hematoma which will take weeks if not months to clear up. My ability to make the trip I have been planning and spent a ton of money on is in question.

In sum, I found Dr. Leet to be rushed, not up to date on the latest techniques, and worst of all dishonest and misleading by misrepresenting the recovery time and not admitting to the complication (hematoma) and truthfully advising me of the consequences. There are plenty of Dr's. qualified to do this operation and most of them use the newer and less intrusive NSV technique. I highly recommend finding one of them.

The staff here is excellent and Dr Leet is a really great urologist. He took a very thorough history and exam. He has a wonderful sense of humor, to put the patient at ease. Dr Leet carefully explained the procedure and allowed ample time for any questions. He didn't seem rushed in the least.
