so when I arrived at the client they greeted with me well manners. the staff was friendly. I was only in the waiting room for about 5 min. after they brought me to my room where I assume I was to meet the doctor. shortly moments after the doctor came in with a warm welcome. very professional. she worked with me till my problem was gone completely and I was happy. I gave her other areas I was concerned about and without hesitation they fixed me up and checked the areas I didn't even ask for. I definitely will be coming back to this clinic... I give them 5 stars!!

Worst Dr. visit ever! a nightmare! Two hours waiting, unprofessional, rude, do not care about patients, work like a factory, and if this is not enough, wrong billing. Two months and more than 30 calls trying to solve a billing error. They understand and agree, but do not have time to process the refund.

All the bad reviews are absolutely true folks! I just came here to write a review today ... I am 55 and never ever found it necessary to ever waste my time to write a review about anything or any person. But I just had to do so after visiting my sons pediatrician today. A couple months ago my wife was referred to Dr. Elena Kendall for our 4 year old son who had a skin rash/irritation. My wife came home screaming about how unprofessional the office was ... HER STAFF were the ones who diagnosed my sons skin problem. The doctor did not have the professionalism to come into the room to introduce herself to us as news patients and to give a quick look. The medical assistants were the one who administered the medication to the skin area and an injection. A couple weeks ago we noticed a very very unusual indentation behind our sons left shoulder and could not figure out what would cause the tissue underneath the skin to dissolve to cause the skin to collapse inward. Our pediatrician today could not figure out what would cause it either until she asked if he had gotten an injection in that area. That was when we realized that the injection that was administered by the staff of Dr. Elena Kendall during my sons visit was the cause of the subcutaneous tissue under his skin to degenerate. Wow and she is a skin specialist. If she had taken the time to say hi to us and to consult with us properly during our visit this problem might not have occurred. My wife also complained that the staff was very scatter-brained. Hope you folks have better luck during your visit than we did!

I was so pleased after having gone to remove a couple sking tags and get my moles checked out. The procedure was very quick, painless and i was out in no time. They also have wide range of different products to maintain healthy skin, and have no marks form the small procedure. I would recommend Dr. Kendall and her wonderful staff to all !

Thanks for the posts regarding this Doctor and her slave labor scams. You saved me a trip to her office and from the humiliation of her practices. When I called her it was horrid sounding in the background and of course they needed me to come in as soon as possible for training. Apparently with a little searching it's easy to find that she in under investigation for fraud and has been ward by the FDA to stop using unapproved drugs on her patients.I'm surprised the State Board of Medicine has not intervened Thanks for those earlier posts

I was hesitant to make an appointment as I had read some negative reviews about Dr. Kendall. However, I was desperate because I had seen two other dermatologists and my condition only worsened. She diagnosed my condition and after only two treatments my condition cleared up.The office seemed hectic and chaotic but the quality of care is oustanding. By the number of patience waiting to be seen she must be doing something right because all those patience would not be there waiting to be seen if they didn't get excellent care.

JOB SEEKERS BEWARE! I applied to a craigslist ad (via email) and received a response from the manager to apply in person.
I showed up at the office, and a worker (named Lissette) briefly looked over my application, and proceeded towards Dr. Elena. Lissette then asked if I can ??train.?
I did basic data entry and afterwards she had me file. I was there for about 30-40 minutes. Afterward, I informed Lissette that I had to leave but if I can come back tomorrow. (I left because I was NOT going to stay there for 2 hours without pay.) I went up to Dr. Elena to ask her what??s the next step, and she told me to come at 10. I explained I have another part time job and if I can come in at 2 instead and she was okay with it.

As I left, I found it peculiar that she didn't ask me about my application, didn??t interview me, didn??t ask for a background check, just expected me to return to ??train.?

The following day I arrived at 1:30 pm. A woman at the front desk (never introduced herself) asked if I applied, and I said yes. She didn't ask me anything else. So we go to the back and she asked me to fill a syringe to 1 CC (I have never had any medical experience, so this was my first time doing a task as such.) I was concerned that she didn't ask me to wash my hands or to put on gloves, which I imagine is a common hygienic procedure at ANY medical facility! When I finished that, I walked back out to the lobby and there was another girl who was also ??training,? who had been there since 8:30 am without a break! I asked her if they were paying her and she just replied "No, I don't know? I hope so, if I get the job." I was in shock. While I waited, they (the employees) were in the meeting.

Dr. Elena was screaming like a mad woman and I saw one girl come out of the meeting crying. Not even 30 minutes pass by and I just grabbed my things and left. I had seen enough. This place needs to be thoroughly inspected by the labor and health departments. From what I saw, and read posted on the internet (reviews) after I left, it appears that they may have been scamming people for months into working for free under the guise of ??training? without hire. Under the state of this economy, people are doing things out of being desperate and it??s a shame a business would be taking advantage of people like this! I have filed a complaint with OSHA in regards to safety hazards and will be contacting the BBB shortly.

I read all the other reviews and I really don't understand why people were negative. I have gone multiple times and each time the doctor saw me and treated me quickly but thoroughly. The girls in front were eager to help me and one time I even got a call from one of the girls up front after I left a sweater in an exam room during an appointment. She found it after I left and immediately called me to make sure I got it back. They're kind and considerate and very helpful. The doctor has been fantastic during all my exams and each time I've seen her has been a quick and easy experience. I would definitely recommend her.

Her name is Dr. Elena Kendall and she is located at 318 Alhambra Circle. She also has other locations. DO NOT GO. Do not, by any means go to this doctor. I just finished "interviewing" with them today unaware of how unbelievably unprofessional, insane and idiotic the staff was. I walked in responding to a post on Craigslist for a new front desk receptionist. The first thing I was greeted with was a rude woman who was arguing with one of the patients, at the top of her voice mind you. Maintaining my professionalism, I walked in to the front office where I waited for someone to just say something. I had been asking for an application the entire time I was there. Then, they make me call people who didn't show up to their appts. and call it an "on the spot training". I do these tasks because I can't tell you how desperate I am for a job. I constantly heard cursing, and yells around the office and phone calls were being hung up on calling patients and medical corporations. I finish my task and wait for someone to at least interview me and a while later they tell me to answer phones... Still part of my "training". Then I wait some more which allowed me to witness even more incompetence and blatant disregard of patient care or customer service. Then they give me ANOTHER stack of people to call and make more appts. After that, I KEEP waiting. I try and ask about who is going to see me and if the doctor was available to be spoken to but they just kept ignoring me and stalling. On one of my calls, a medical lab calls me and says biopsies the doctor ordered were ready, at which point, I immediately tell one of the girls working there. Towards the end of this day from hell, the doctor yells out asking if anyone had gotten word about the biopsies. After the had avoided her comment, I looked around and told a second girl (the rude one from the beginning of this story) that I received the call and told the other girl. She told the doctor out loud, at which point, the girl I initially spoke to about the biopsies shook her head as if she had no idea what I was talking about. That was the point where I told myself I NEEDED TO GET OUT. I could not believe that I had just worked three hours, FOR FREE. One of her medical assistants told me, after waiting to speak for the doctor for 20 minutes, that she has my information and will be contacting me. I was speechless when I left the building. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I even went back inside to try and clarify why I just worked three hours and no one even sat me down, asked my name, told me details about this job or what they're looking for. The doctor kept passing by, ignoring the fact that there's some stranger answering her clinic's phone calls. JUST DON'T GO. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR, THIS CLINIC AT THE GABLES, OR ANY OF HER OTHER CLINICS. I'm still not even sure if I should sue or not. What a terrible, terrible day. I feel so cheated, I want to cry.

My visit to Dr. Kendall??s clinic (I hesitate to consider her a doctor) was the worst experience I have had
with a medical provider. I should have realized that I called for an appointment and was told it was not
necessary - just come that there would be a problem.
I was surprised but I went early in the morning. I arrived when the clinic was opening and there were
already 30 people waiting. From that point I waited 2 hours and observed a disorganized mess. Once
they called me in to see Dr. Kendall, she did not even ask me why I came. She looked at me and said that
I need to have my face treated and she pulled a blow torch and started blowing something painful on
my hands and my face.
The entire visit was approximately 20 seconds. As the nurse was pushing me out of the doors I barely
had time to shout what I came for. Another nurse showed me to a corner of the hallway and told me
to sit under some kind of blue light. I had no idea what it was for. Meanwhile another nurse gave me a
prescription with a suggestion that I should purchase some additional medications from them. I declined
and she left me there sitting in the corner even after the ??mystery light? turned off.
During the ??mystery light? treatment I could hear the constant screams of Dr. Kendall at her stuff,
patients sitting everywhere, including in supply closets, hallways and examination rooms. The patients
were treated like cattle ready for slaughter. The doctor showed absolutely no interest caring for her
patients only to hoard them in and out and sell them ??snake oils? over her counter.
If you have unlimited time to waste sitting or standing for hours in this pseudo medical waiting area,
be treated like an untouchable and be ripped off this is a place for you. Otherwise go somewhere else.
I have already made complaint with my medical insurance company; next will be with the American
Board of Dermatology and the AMA.

Avoid this place as much as possibble. I have read all the positive reviews and they all were written by the same people whom she pays to have them posted (all over the internet)! She has so many bad reviews that she has to do something about it or else she will have the worst reputation in town. All I can tell you is that they only care about making money. You will not see the doctor for more than 2 minutes, if she bothers. They will sell you as many overpriced products as possible, that's a fact! Don't say you were not warned if you make the mistake of going...

I don't understand how this office is conducting business. ALL of the girls working in the front are incompetent!!! They don't call back and they are all uniformed about the policies of the office. I went to this office and received prescriptions, when I need to renew them, I couldn't get an employee to call me back. I spoke with a girl, Alex, and informed her that I would not be returning and she said "ok, not a problem." THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have had with a Dr ever!!!

On May 5th 2011 had appointment. Had to wait, when called in I was put in supply room, to wait for a room. Once put in the room, the doctor came rushing in then asked what was wrong. In less them a second had a needle to numb the area. Did not wait for that area to get the affect, she started cutting. At the sometime an office lady came in with product to sell and she gave instructions on how to apply cream and total me the price. Then I was rushed out of the room. I gave a credit card to pay for the creams. I was over charged for the to creams in the amount $95.00----- for La Roche Posay Toleriane Purifying 4.22oz that retails for $34.32 and Avene Cicalfate restorative Skin Cream 1.40oz that retails for $26.00. When I opened the bag I had no invoice, I call the office to request invoice, I was told she does not give detail invoice on products. This has to be illegal! How many people is she taking advantage of and over changing to make extra money. I plan to report this practice to the Internal Revenue.

To be perfectly honest with you the product was not really necessary, so be careful not to let Doctor??s scar you into buying something that is not really needed.

Terrible!!! If you are considering going to see this doctor, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! This is a factory, in & out, they spend 5 mits with you max, everyone is rude and do not care for what you have to say. They will most likely do an allergy test even though you probably wont need it so they can make some money off you.
How are this people still open is beyond me, doctors should care about people and she DOESNT.

Very bad experience...if you have free money and time then go see this doc. She yelled at her staff non stop...I had to wait 1hr and 15 min for my visit. I was planning on leaving but needed my results...why I waited not sure..the doc didnt even give me my results..her staff did. When leaving the office her staff tried to sell me a crab load of products. Definitely not what I expected...very disappointed. Its really ashame that an individual is allowed to continue practicing with this unproffesionalism. Lesson learned...all I can do know is pray for her and her staff because they all need it.

Its really ashame that an individual is allowed to continue practicing with this unproffesionalism. Lesson learned...all I can do know is pray for her and her staff because they all need it.

I was reffered to Dr. kendall through a family member, i was thrilled attending this office. The girls ( staff ) are the biggest sweet hearts you can ever meet. All girls are very attentive and well mannered. While waiting in the exam room a Medical assisstant came and attended me until the doctor came in the room. When it was time for check out, the girl completley explained every medication i was going to be taking and for what i was going to be taking that medication.I would recomend you to attend this office. Its a nice expirience.

If you have read the other reviews its all true. Please dont be a sucker like I was. Such a waist of my time...I will be contacting my insurance company to file a complaint....this doctor should not be practicing. Very bad experience!!!

This place was a joke. Doctor came and went like flash lighting. It was a horrible and confusing experience. Two assistance came in with little explaintion to treatment and when i asked questions, they were annoyed. Did i neglect to mention, the treatment was for my 5 year boy? They injected a allergy shot, pasted a allergy patch on his back, prescribed a cream for his skin which i had to purchase additional solution to be used with the medicated cream that cost $99. But, WAIT...the prescription cost at walgreens $538.00, oh yeah!!! It was a joke. Before i realized what was happening, i was out the door. Time waste and money wasted but most importantly my son was upset and irratated between the shot and patch. Just to tell you, it was a long night. However, i will return to get the results of the patch which i hope are accurate and remove the patch AND I AM DONE! HOpe this review was helpfull, but i do strongely suggest to research your doctor before going to see them for the first time...lesson to be learn.

If there was a -star that would be the appropriate rating for Kendall. I went in for a rash all over my torso. I have never been allergic to anything and she didn't even ask me to change into a gown she ran into my room, yes RAN, asked me why I was there glanced at my back and left the room. She then sent in another "nurse" to come and distribute the shot of cortisone that she said would help me.I asked to see the "doctor" again and they said she couldn't see me that I already received my consultation. I was insulted! She was wearing leggings and sneakers with her white coat, and yelling to her staff "Room 4 - I need someone in 1 and 2 we need to get them out"-- Ridiculous!! I'm $210 dollars broke now and I could say that I received absolutely no service! No one had answers for me. This is the most horrible service at a doctors office that I have ever received. STAY AWAY.. Seriously she is horrible.

I only wishes I had read the reviews on this page before I went to see Dr. Kendall, it would have saved me time, money and frustration. At least these people got to see her, I never did! I was treated by her assistants and some guy that I assumed was another doctor. My ordeal lasted about 15 minutes in all and thank God I did not let them remove the mole that I have on my face; However, they did push these three products and charged me $99 for them without even telling me what they were for! It all happened so fast I did not realize what had happend until I got home! Never again and I'm calling the radio station where she has a weekly talk show to complaint about her!

I too experience the chaos of this office. I thought it was just a bad day. She screamed constantly at her staff. I should have followed my instincts and run from the office, but I did not. She removed skin cancer and 5 months later I still have a horrible scar on my face. I am looking into filing a formal complaint.

I'm completely appalled by how I was treated here. I made an appointment to get my acne under control and to get a laser hair removal consultation.
My appointment was with Dr. Kendall......I think. You'll see why I'm still confused in a moment.
Walking into the office is like an episode of the Twilight Zone. The decor was very elegant, done just so. Very Dynasty. The staff, however could only be described as DMV.
The receptionist was almost comically rude, her face fixed somewhere between sneer and grimace, her tone annoyed. When I arrived, I overhead her telling a woman at the desk that the doctor was in the middle of an interview and her appointments would be pushed back. Oh. Great.
I walked up and asked for a pen to sign in. This granted me an exasperated sigh and a pen shoved in my direction. No hello, good afternoon. I then asked for any new patient forms I had to fill in. I might as well have asked for a kidney.
The din in the waiting room/front desk area was ridiculous! Phones ringing off the hook, nurses giggling, a thousand conversations going on at once. You could hear it from the exam rooms, too. It must be so ~relaxing~ when you come in for a facial.
Anyway, after about a half hour of waiting in the terminal--- er "waiting room", a nurse called my name and we walked down the hallway to an exam room.
Apparently, the Aubree Juliana is experimenting with a scavenger hunt style filing system because in the 20 mins I was in the exam room waiting for the doctor, at least 3 different nurses came in to rifle through the patient files haphazardly stacked on a table in the corner. I could have read all about my neighbor's botox if I wanted to. The complete disregard for privacy was hilarious.
Finally, the doctor arrived. Or at least, I think? She didnt really shake my hand or introduce herself. In fact, i think she adressed me directly about twice. It was like ordering at Burger King. "Ok she needs an acne treatment and a laser hair removal consultation, large fries, no mayo." I didnt know whether to laugh or cry.
She used that cold blow-torch thing on my face and informed me that I would be getting a Blue Light treatment. Um, say what? Nope, no time for an explanation. She was out of the room like somebody yelled fire.
A nurse handed me a ziploc with samples in it and some prescriptions stapled to it. Antibiotic prescriptions given without so much as a glance at my medical history? Sounds safe.
I was then led into the hallway, directly to the receptionist window to pay for the Blue Light. My scammy sense was tingling, the fact that I had to pay $140 when I walked in, was not helping either. Most doctors offices ask for payment at the end of your visit. At the Aubree its pay as you go. Class!
After I paid, the nurse led me to the Blue Light room, instructed me to put on the sunglasses and sit still until the machine turned off. I was going to ask her about my laser consult (oh I couldn't wait to see how that would be handled), but she was gone. Very ninja.
I sat in the quiet with only one thought on my mind:
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE?
It was like a parody of dermatologist visit.
Soon enough the machine stopped and I sat alone in the dark for about a minute and half before realising I was flying solo. I felt along the wall for the light switch and opened the door. I found the nurse from earlier and she said "Thats it, youre done! You can leave now."
Oh.

I debated bringing up the laser hair removal consult but I really had had enough, so I smiled and made my way to the elevator.
I'm never going back here, and I'm telling everyone I know to STAY AWAY.
PS: I'm going to the miami-institute for my skin needs now. I went there earlier for another procedure and they actually spoke to me! And made eye contact!

Pros: nice office, nice if you hate eye contact and conversation?

Cons: lack of professionalism, general bus station atmosphere

I recently went to the doctor M. Elena Kendall to be treated for acne. They were quick to set an appointment by phone. Once I got to my appointment I waited 1 hr and 10 minutes to be called in. There were about 15 other people waiting to be treated as well. They were all schedule in massive groups for the same time. There were 4 front desk girls working and about other 5 assisting the doctor. They were all agitated, running around from room to room and screaming to each other. Once called in I was placed in room number 6 (which pretty much tells you the quality of service since they only have one doctor.) after waiting another 10 to 15 minutes a young lady about 24-27 years old came in and treated me very dry. While she waited for some papers she turned her back to me and started playing with her phone. She barely crossed a few words with me and prescribed me some antibiotics. She said since I didn??t have insurance anything they would do they need to charge on top of the $150 dollars they had already charged. She claimed that was only office visit. I thought I would then see the doctor, but I was send to some blue light machine for some extra charge. Then I saw the doctor screaming at one of her front desk employees threatening to fire her. The doctor was dressed very inappropriately. Her legs were fully exposed. She must have been wearing a mini skirt shorter than her gown. She had very thick make up and very long fake nails. She looked like a cabaret show dancer. Before leaving I overheard the doctor order loudly to one of her employees to attend that ??freaking patient.? Their attitude is horrible. I feel ripped off and mistreated. I don??t recommend this doctor to absolutely anyone. SHE IS THE WORST DOCTOR EVER!! HORRIBLE ATTENTION. BE WARNED THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY!!!
