I have been in pain with a disease for the last 4 years. I have visited Dr.Locke plenty of times and still no help at all. Instead,he and his nurses decided that I need to go see a counselor and they would help me out with my pain issues. It is getting ridiculous and I have told him a million times that I am at my wit's end and he will not do anything to help me but that I need to wait and it will get better soon. I wouldn't reccomend.

They billed my insurance $130.00 for two knee braces that they gave my son. when the insurance did not pay because these are over the counter items, they want to charge me $130.00 for the braces, which I could have bought for $10 at the pharmacy. The doctor did not give us the choice to buy these from the pharmacy; he just gave them to my son. We need health care reform to put an end to greed in the system.

Being hearing impaired, it is hard to communicate to doctors without being looked as if I am such an idiot, especially when I have an ASL interpreter. Dr. Locke was very professional and caring enough to answer any and all questions I had. My daughter went in for a spinal fusion, and she is doing wonderfully great. He stopped by to see us everyday. His surgery team was A+++. Several of them stopped by to see my daughter.

Dr. Locke was the rudest, and most shallow doctor I have ever met. My daughter broke her arm and needed pins per the Er doctor at the hospital. Dr. Locke came in a grabbed her hurt arm, and jerked it up, and was really rough with it. Then he said that it would heal as long as she would move her fingers as much as possible. He wouldn't take more xrays to see how it was before he told us that. Then he told her that if she didn't move her fingers he would have to cut her arm and hand about 8 times to be able to go in a fix it, and really had her scared. He was a jerk, with a horrible bedside manner. We ended up getting a second opinion the next day, and it was decided that she needed two pins put in to fix it. She had surgery that night, and is now doing well. Don't go to Dr. Locke. He is not a good doctor!!!!

I broke my wrist swing dancing in 2004 and without having any idea about where to go, I choose Moore Orthopaedic...this was the best choice I could have possibly made, I was appalled to read the poor comment that TM wrote. Please take her review with a grain of salt. I have had only positive experience with the facility and ALL of it's staff. Their positive attitude and general concern for my well being was deeply appreciated. I also had the best occupational therapists ever, they not only helped me get back all of my motion but they also really guided me through the therapy process. I was tremendously satisfied.

I read with shock the scurrilous review submitted by TM of the competency of Dr. McFadden and the Moore Clinic. I have suffered two major injuries in the last two years, one to my left thumb and one to my right elbow.Having worked for the South Carolina Medical Association for several years, I knew the only medical practice I trusted to assess and treat my injuries were the physicians and staff of the Moore Clinic. They are the premier Orthopedic Clinic in the State of South Carolina and any implication otherwise indicates sour grapes to me. All of the doctors at the Moore Clinic are experts in their fields and their staff is diverse devoting specialist for each orthopedic injury.Dr.'s Holmes, Fulton, McFadden and Locke are esteemed by their peers and I would not hesitate to trust my care or the care of any one I love in the skillful hands of any physician at the Moore Clinic.Additionally the nurses, staff exemplify excellence, compassion and courtesy. Finally, I have overpaid the clinic without realizing it and would have never known, the funds were returned to me.The Moore Clinic is a state of the art operation with compassionate, caring, competent and exceptional ability. This includes their rehabilitative hand clinic as well.SN

I visited Moore Orthopaedic after I broke my wrist in a car accident. Even though my wrist was still hurting, I was told by Dr. McFadden that my wrist was fine. After weeks of not being able to use my hand, I went to a doc in the box. They x-rayed my wrist and immediately were able to tell me my wrist was broken. I went back to McFadden and showed him the x-rays. He acted like his mistake was no big deal, then tells me I may need surgery. Apparently the broken part of my wrist was causing damage to the surrounding ligaments and tendons and I had to have surgery to remove the piece. I still wonder if the pain I feel in my wrist today is a result of those few weeks of damage that occured before he acknowledged the break. They were much better at checking my bill balance than my x-rays.

PROS: Hmmm....
CONS: Where do I start?
