I found Mark to have poor judgment when it came to diagnosing and treating my issues. I am still (two weeks later) in more pain after he touched me than I was prior to walking into the office. I regret coming to this office, though I was so excited and hopeful at first. I was also disappointed in how they responded to my problems, and they seemed indifferent to my pain. The much-touted on-line services they provide, which were created by Mark and heavily promoted by him, are a great idea but in practice left so much to be desired I almost didn't return to the office (but I'm in pain, and it'll take another week to get into another place, so I'm stuck for the next few days). Any good idea turns into a bad one if it's executed poorly, and the interaction through their on-line tool was dismal and disappointing at best. They did not respond when and how they said they would, and what response I did get wasn't anything more than :"Come to your appt on Tuesday." Gee, thanks so much for that help!!
Be careful when going to this clinic--don't let them do anything you know will set off your issues, as they do not have the judgment themselves to treat it appropriately and without pain.

I have had physical therapy with several different clinics in Boulder, all of them have been very good, however Soma Physical Therapy stands out. Their clinic has a multidisciplinary approach. This clinic has highly skilled, manually trained therapist with extensive knowledge of the spine. Not only were they great at diagnosis and treatment, but truly wanted me to achieve a high level of therapeutic success. They have this great program called Tx Xchange which delivers exercises directly to your e-mail account so you can sit at your desk, log on to your computer, and voila! You are doing your exercises at work, at home, where ever you are. It makes things really easy and is very motivating. I love it! And the exercises and training themselves have been great. They combine yoga and Pilates stretching with strength training to give tons of useful tools. I have been able to get back to activities I haven?t done in years. Lastly, they put me in touch with great doctors to help manage my care. Their reputation in the community is well established and all the PTs made great efforts to communicate with my practitioners. I highly recommend this clinic.

Pros: Totally professional. Great location. Quick results.

I just came across this negative review of Soma Physical Therapy and thought I would share my positive experience. I can't say enough good things about them - they communicated with my doctors and took care of me while in the office. I have a herniated disc in my back and they were very helpful in giving me exercises to build my core and I'm now able to live with very little pain. The therapists are very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience. I would definitely recommend Soma to my friends and family!
