(I'm 19. Saw him for anxiety.) He is just not very good at what he does. I know he is probably a wonderful person that knows a lot about psychology, but he is not very good at relating to people. He talked about himself and his family and his neighbors and his friends way too much. And I felt he was judging me. Like I should be more accomplished in my 18 years. Everything about me was different than him, and he just has no idea how to relate other than telling me what he would do. So what? I don't have money to carry out his suggestions, like "just take a vacation with your boyfriend." A vacation where? To the beach and back ? Because that's what we can do. He also kept telling me I needed to move out and I should live with my boyfriend. I don't know how many times I told him I'm happy to be at home helping out and I personally did not believe in living with my boyfriend of 5 months when I was just 18. Never really helped the anxiety. So, every session was the same. Obviously did not take notes to remember what we talked about the week before. Answered non- emergency phone calls while I was talking. Once told me that the client after me was "really crazy and drove him nuts". So, I guess that last one makes him unprofessional. I do have one good thing to say though. He made me realize that people deserve better. And you should never settle because someone is nearby and on your insurance plan. Do research. Look at reviews like these. And listen to your friends.

Cons: unprofessional and unhelpful.

In my opinion the most incompetent and dangerous psychologist in the Tampa Bay area. Quick to form opinions without any support. Easily deceived, even by children. Has been irresponsible in his actions to the point that many consider him as participating in abusive situations.
Unresponsive, willing to state things he cannot support, regularly made to look silly when questioned. I was there when he was questioned in court about a comment and the judge made him look foolish. The Dr. gave a strong opinion about not having a child spend more time with her father and when the judge asked why he said he did not think it was a good idea. When the judge asked why he said that he just felt that way. When the judge asked for a specific reason he said he had none.
He regularly condemns all other psychologists that have a different opinion than his as "incompetent". When you have someone who forms an opinion based on feeling and then is willing to harm others to keep that opinion and feels their opinion is automatically superior to others although he is the only one with that opinion, then they are dangerously incompetent.
If it were possible to give a negative star rating then I would.
