.

Terrible surgeon. He performed an appendectomy but did not remove the appendix and did not know that he did not remove it. He didn't indicate anything unusual or difficult with the surgery and discharged me a couple days later. He ignored the pathology report indicating he had not removed the appendix, and failed to notice the clinical symptoms. I ended up getting very sick and had to be fed through and IV, had to have another surgery and spent about a month in the hospital. As soon as the wonderful nurses at Providence informed of my right to get another doctor I started to get better, I hate to think what would have happened if they didn't stick up for me.

In addition to his terrible medical care he was verbally abusive to both me on my family. During the admission process when I informed him of my orientation he told me "Oh, you guys lost" in regards to a recent civil rights ordinance. He would not use the proper pronouns when addressing me and got defensive when asked to stop it by me, my parents, and the nurse.

I know no one is perfect but it is unbelievable that a practicing physician could provide this lousy of care.
