I visited Dr Bennett in order to switch my medicines for depression. The first meeting went well and I was asked to come back in 4 weeks for further review. Upon arriving for my 9 am appt he said he was running late. I ended up with 15 min left of my appointment. He perscriped a medication and I left.

Upon filling my medicine, insurance called to say they would need a prior authorization from from Dr. Bennett. I called and emailed him to let him know. 8 days later he still hadn't filled out the form so I called him again. I was told I needed to chase down the form that insurance would only release to him. I needed to navigate any 1-800 lines and fax him the form myself because he simply did not have time. He said he was much too busy to call in to my insurance and the only way would be if I would call and have them give me a direct line and name of someone to talk to.

So, in order to continue the medicine which I had started I was responsible to track down the form (which they won't give to patients and don't post online). I mentioned I would have to go off the medicine and he didn't seem to care. No regards for patient health and the dangers of stopping cold turkey.

In short, for $255 per half hour and zero regard for patient health I wouldn't trust this man.
