I've been to many Optometrists in my life but I will always go to Dr Proiette. Dr Proiette and his staff has been taking care of my eyes and my families eyes for 5 years now. He is by far the best Optometrist around. The staff is very helpful with frame and lens selection and insurance questions. I highly recommend Stanford Ranch Optometry and Dr. Proiette.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Michael J. Proiette (Dr. P) for eight years now. We are very satisfied with the professional care received by Dr. P and the office staff. There is always a good selection of eye wear available, and our new glasses are always available in about a week. We are very happy that their extended office hours make it convenient for our busy schedule.

The doctor rushed through my appointment because he was completely engrossed, talking to some woman in the lobby about great property he bought (obviously trying to impress her) and he went on and on for 15 minutes, until the young lady had to excuse herself and leave, at which point I was finally taking back for my appointment. The doctor made no attempts to apologize and the whole time I felt rushed and more like a nuisance rather than a valued patient. Then after that, the girl that works there tried to get me to buy the MOST expensive frames and a bunch of extras that I don't need as well as a test for my eyes "that is HIGHLY recommended" but insurance doesn't cover it, luckily I am savvy to this industry because my ex-husband works for a major perscription laboratory. Their frame selection is poor and the frames that they do have are totally overpriced. They billed my ex-husbands and my insurance for the SAME exact dollar amount and 4 months later they still have not resolved the matter. On top of that it took 4 weeks to get my glasses, all the while the girl that works their kept blaming the lab where the lenses were being cut but my ex-husband works for the lab and I KNOW for a fact that she did not put the order in until 2 weeks AFTER my appointment.
