I have been taking my oldest here for almost 17 yrs in April. I have 2 other chilren that also go here one for 9 yrs and one for 2 yrs. I've never owed Dr. Tomeh a bill and have had insurance some years and paid out of pocket others. I only asked if they would bill me for a very much needed visit for my oldest son because he was having severe pains in his upper abdomen. They said no that I would have to pay up front. I just figured that after us being such loyal patients that he would let us do that but NOT! This is the second time they have denied to see us. The first time was when my 2yr old broke out in hives and I need to get him in quickly. They had 20 min. before they closed and I was 2 min. away and they said NO, we can't see him today. That is all well and good, because I will be taking my children to a different Health Care Provider from now on. Besides the office for Dr. Tomeh has become pretty nasty.

I love taking my kids to see Dr. Tomeh & Dr. Prasad. They always make sure my kids medical needs are met no matter what the problem is. I like the service and I always make sure my kids medical insurance is current. I always call first.

I have 4 kids that have been going to Dr. tomeh for over 16 years. I called saying I needed an updated shot record for my daughther to stay in school. They told me it would take a week. I explained that I need it urgently. They still would not help me. All they could tell me that everyone else is waiting on records and it takes them a long time to write the dates on the form. There was no one else in the office waiting on records while I was there.
I have changed my kids doctor from this incident and a few other things. I went to the Health Dept which had a line for shot records, but I was out of there in 15 minutes. But Dr. Tomeh a private doctors office with only a few in the waiting room could not provide me with the record that I needed.

Dr. Tomeh , Has been my childrens doctor for the pass 19 years. I have nothing but the upmost respect for Dr. Tomeh and his staff. My son was born a sick baby and in my point of view, He saved my son's life. He was at one point of time removed from the providers list on the insurance, I continued taking my children to him for medical care because I trusted only Dr. Tomeh with their health care. My daughter is now 19 and my son 15, Eventhough my daughter has moved on to amother doctor my son remains in the care of Dr. Tomeh and I am very pleased with the care that Dr. Tomeh has given them both. We just had a new addition to our family a 5day old cousin and guest what Dr. Tomeh is his doctor. No one else but.

Dr. Tomeh has been my sons doctor for the past 8 years. My jobs changed insurance providers and no PCP was needed. I contacted the office of Dr. Tomeh to confirm if he was within the provider's network. It was confirmed by Dr. Tomeh's staff that he was an active provider in this network. My son was treated at Dr. Tomeh's office and I later received an explanation of benefit notice with a rejected claim. I contacted the insurance provider and was then informed that Dr. Tomeh was not listed in their network.
I contacted the office of Dr. Tomeh and asked again to verify if they were a listed provider and was told yes. I them informed them of the explanation of benefits I had just received. They continuously tried to get me off the phone referring me back to the insurance provider. I informed them they someone in their office needed to contact the insurance company to resolve the discrepancy. They refused and I later recieved an outstanding bill from Dr. Tomeh's office for the balance. After making several attempts to settle this issue I was finally told that the most they can do is write off some of the charges but the remaining balance I was still responsible for. The charges has been paid, but I seriously feel that my copay should have been sufficient. Keep in mind this was an error made on behalf of Dr. Tomeh's office.

Even though Dr. Tomeh has been my daughter's pediatrician for the past 9 years without problematic payment for services, my SICK daughter was refused services because he wasn't listed as her Primary Care Provider online. (My coverage changed and the insurance provider automatically selected the PCP closest to my home) My insurance provider faxed numerous authorization notices for the office visit promising payment, yet Dr. Tomeh's office turned us away --facsimile authorization from the insurance isn't enough for him, he wants online proof (As if that would be most current). I have traveled 25+ miles to Dr. Tomeh for the past 6 years so that my daughter could continue with her pediatrician. Now, after sitting in the SICK CHILD WAITING AREA (amidst all the germs) for 1hr 35 minutes, I must get acquainted with someone else to provide a QUALITY healthcare service for my child. This doesn't include the fact that my husband was turned away earlier this afternoon and told that he had to come back after 2:15pm. Why not tell us then that she would not be seen by the good doctor?

Pros: Accepts most coverage

Cons: Ambience, Parking, Office Staff
