Up until my delivery, I loved Mountainview, had a great pregnancy, and was frequently told I was one of healthiest patients by all of the doctors there. Unfortunately, I had a very painful and frightening delivery with the birth of my first child. While I am thankful Dr. Naymick responded quickly to one of the emergency complications, he never explained what had happened and why he responded the way he did. He just left the room after delivering my baby. I only learned what happened by listening to his responses to nurses' and student doctors' questions, and when I inquired weeks later, he gave me brief, uninformative responses. When the nurse accidentally turned the epidural drip off, dr. told that us that there weren't any anesthesiologists available at that late hour to turn it back on. I was left to deliver on high levels of pitocin pushing for over two hours, and the drug definitely magnified my pain. There weren't any anesthesiologists available or was it too inconvienant to wake one up?!?! While I lay there hemmorhaging after I gave birth, dr. quickly stabbed my inner thighs with needles, and I overheard him tell the nurse who'd asked what "that" was [amidst the blood]. He responded, "her uterus came out, but that's okay", because he would push it back in... I believe my episiotomy was performed after I gave birth naturally, probably to deal with the hemmorhaging. Strangely on the report, it said that he opened up the previous episiotomy. Upon delivery, my husband was sent away to "photograph the baby", but he never saw Dr. Naymick perform an episiotomy before the birth. Needless to say, I won't go back to Mountainview. Luckily my baby was, and is, very healthy, and I was only bed-ridden for 2-1/2 weeks afterwards. I felt fully healed within about two months. The nurses who had witnessed my birth were wonderful.

Dr. Naymick delivered my 2nd child and I was very happy with his bedside manner and the whole experience. He had a student dr. with him at the time and she stayed with me the whole entire time I was in labor. While pregnant, you see each dr. in the practice which I was not fond of, but you get to know them all that way. I was very glad that Dr. Naymick ended up being the dr. that delivered my baby.
