I've been a long time patient of Dr. Mehta (7 years), and over the past year or so he has dropped his standard of care and concern for his patiences. I have not been able to talk with him directly after my last visit, as I always have had a close and trusting relationship with him.

Last week I went in for an emergency visit and asked for a refill on vitamin D. The nurse came out to the waiting room and begin discussing my history openly in front of everyone in the waiting room. She did it in a way that made me feel like I was nothing; She talked to me in a lowly and condescending tone then proceeded to tell me that she made the decision not to refill my vitamin D because it's what she thought she should do until I see the Dr. on Thursday, which was my met appointment. I'm not sure if she's aware, but I can buy vitamin D off of the shelf at any drug store, which I did.

Once before, this same nurse intercepted a report from a physical that I took that the doctor and I had discussed and he okayed me getting a copy of for my records;
Upon leaving the office after hearing the great results from my physical I was excited and wanted to show the results to my wife and job that I do volunteer work for and need to be in good health. I was told that after I speak to someone about joining the Dr's VIP club, I will then be given my copy of the report. I sat and listen to a sales woman pitch the Dr's VIP club where those who agree to pay a ridiculous amount of money each month would receive preferential treatment from this Dr.

Well, I found this appalling and a bit tacky for the Dr. to try and sell something that we are supposed to be getting anyway. Needless to say this idea did not work, and in the process he has lost my confidence.

Lastly, the latest addition of his nurse/assistant is a complete joke. She is rude, insensitive, arrogant and at times seems to be trying to let everyone know who's really in charge.

Finally, I am now looking for another Dr. who truly cares about people and has the time to talk with them and listen as well as explain what's going on. By the way, I had to pay $40.00 to receive a copy of my records, how sad.

Very disappointed.
