I totally would NOT recommend this doctor. In the first place, his office staff was difficult to work with. In the second place, the doctor was difficult to work with. Let me explain: (1)I had a hard time understanding him because of his accent (2)I had a hard time understanding why he was ordering tests he did and (3) I had a hard time with the way he worked with children!OK, here's some background. I took my daughter to this doctor when she was about 3 years old. He was her primary care physician because of the insurance we had at the time. So, I took her in because she was running a fever. My daughter had a history of ear infections with no pain so I figured this was the problem. He diagnosed her with "fever of unknown origin" and ordered a CAT scan on her!!! Remember that this is a 3 year old child! I begged him to look in her ears. He finally took a very quick peek and said, "nothing wrong with ears."Well, I was pretty upset and after leaving there, I quickly called the insurance company and asked them if I was allowed to change primary care physicians and since they said I could, I did. The very next day, I was able to take her to a different doctor. I explained that she had a fever and a history of ear infections. Well, this new doctor looked into her ears and she had a double ear infection and it was really bad! There is no way that she did not have this the previous day.Dr. Madarang MISSED a VERY EASY DIAGNOSIS!!! He ordered tests that were inappropriate and unnecessary. I totally do not recommend Dr. Madarang!!!
