My name is Daniel Sensini Tel: (586)256-1825 and on March 31st, 2006 I had back surgery performed by Dr. Paul Croissant at Crittenton hospital in Rochester, Michigan. Dr. Croissant implanted a cage? Supposedly the Zimmer BAK Vista Interbody Fusion System. A surgery which should have taken about two and a half hours ended up taking over seven and I woke with two black eyes and a busted lip. Upon completion of this surgery a fluoroscopic x-ray was taken, that someone from Dr. Croissants office mailed to me approximately seven years later. It was the first time Ive ever seen this image and it reveals the broken cage in my back. Since I'm unable to get a clear understanding of what is in my back, I must rely on the fluoroscopy and a brochure that was given to me by my surgeon. Zimmer Spines Senior Executive - Scott LaPointe said in a conversation with me that isnt my cage in your back, even though theres a Zimmer BAK Vista lot number on the order form from my surgery on March 31st, 2006. There was only one Zimmer 11 x 24 mm cage BAK Vista interbody fusion system ordered for the surgery in the L4-5 region. Zimmer Spines Senior Executive - Scott LaPointe said repeatedly in his own words that it isnt their cage but that it looks like some sort of medical instrument. I wonder how that is when theres a lot number for an 11 x 24mm cage on the order form. Dr. Croissant mentions a 9 x 20 mm cage in the operative report that theres not a lot number for. Crittentons General Council - Michael Clark & Crittentons risk management team invited me and my attorney, Cecil St. Pierre, to have a meeting with them at the hospital to address my concerns about the fluoroscopic x-ray that they denied having an to assure me that there was indeed a Zimmer 11 x 24 mm cage in my back. When I presented evidence of the fluoroscopy Michael Clark told me to get the f*** out before I call the police! As an American citizen I have the right to know whats in my back. No one has given me any answers that I need if I ever require another surgery. This information could be critical. Someone needs to speak up. Others should come forward. My family and I have suffered tremendously, Ive lost all faith in the medical field, and I believe my civil rights have been violated. I need help and answers. If anyone has had troubles of their own with the Zimmer BAK Vista Interbody fusion system I urge you to report this to the FDA.

Pay particular attention to the fluoroscopy which provides a clear view of the broken cage - the work of Dr. Paul Croissant.

Please reach out to me if if this interests you or if you've had a similar experience with Dr. Paul Croissant.

BEWARE! My name is Daniel Sensini, my telephone # is (586) 256-1824. Doctor Paul Crossiant operated on my back in 2006 and he broke the cage/distraction plug in my back (which he states in the operative report). I was on the operating table for 7 hours instead of the anticipated 2.5 hours. Upon X-ray, 3 dots were shown after surgery, a separate time only 2 dots. The cage company shows a picture specifically where there are two dots on each side of the cage to display its position so if it moves a doctor would know. (Does this mean that it fell apart and he threw it back together without all the parts?) I woke up during the procedure when he broke the cage in my back and I heard the nurse from Crittenton Hospital say "You should have placed the cage in." I looked at him and told him "you're hurting me!" He told the anesthesiologist to "put him out!" They sat on my face to keep me down because I was getting up. I woke up after surgery and had black eyes (my right eye still is black today) and a busted lip (which still remains hanging today) from them sitting on my face. When I tried to stand up after surgery, it felt like the rods gave out and everything fell apart. My gown was BLOODY and was never changed, I was in excruciating pain, given the minimum amount of pain medication, the room was freezing and I was not given any blankets. I was crying and no one wanted to be a part of this disaster to protect there self. I couldn't get anybody to do anything so I wheeled myself out of the hospital in a wheelchair without signing any discharge papers. Dr. Crossiant kept saying each time I seen him that everything was fine even though I kept complaining that something was wrong and I was in excruciating pain for nine months. My father told me to go to Troy Beaumont Emergency where they held me for 18+ hours and Dr. Easton came in and said that everything fell apart and that he wasn't messing with the area that Dr.Croissant fused together. He said he could fix everything else, but that area. I needed immediate surgery because the rods were scraping on the tailbone and screws were loose and protruding through the bone towards my bladder from the failed back surgery. I will email anyone the operative report and X-rays to substantiate my claims, and shows the broken distraction plug. So Dr. Easton referred me to a doctor he recently hand picked, Dr. Vibert, who reconstructed my back. If it wasn't for these doctors I would have killed myself. To this day I am still traumatized and wake up hourly. It's a shame that Dr. Crossiant is still practicing. The reason that I am putting this out here is because I have cancer (not sure if this is from the excessive allograft he used to fill in the disk space that he lost when he broke the cage) and want people to know about this cruel, scandalous man who will do anything to protect his image, not to mention the craziness my family has endured from this monster. I hope there's someone out there to help me expose this monster. Thank you for reading this, I hope you make the right decision. I swear to my God that this is all the truth.

P.S. I have any and all documents and brochures to back up what I'm saying. I DARE Dr. Crossiant to take me to court if I'm lying.
