When I initially sought a new physician 5 years ago, the highest thing on my list was that the provider was professional treating my opinions respectfully and that s/he respected ME: my time, .my concerns, etc
Dr Mehta has shown extreme compassion when I was ill, and sufferening from asthma and pneumonia. I have only once ever waited more than 5 minutes in his office - but they did advise me when I arrived that he had responded to an emergency and would be off schedule. I feel respected by the office staff, and they are aware that my time is important.

Further, the level of care provided is excellent, and because he keeps his practice relatively smaller, he has made the effort to get to know my husband and me very well. When I walk in there for a routine visit, and not having trouble with my breathing, he smiles and has a good word of thanks that I am not suffering from asthma. When I am unwell, his level of concern is empathetic, and I am always well cared for.

I would highly recommend Dr Mehta to any adult seeking new primary care physician

I have been seeing Dr. Nick Mehta as my primary physician for a number of years. His level of service has gone down dramatically. Not that is was very good to begin with. The man never spent more than 5 minutes with me at a time. I just normally took him for his word. For one, plan on waiting at least 45 minutes to an hour for him to see you. I recently went in for routine blood work. When I asked Mehta how my cholesterol & blood sugar was he told me
everything was normal. He seemed rushed and just wanted me out of his office so he could get to his next patient (his waiting room was full). I wanted to see the lab work numbers for myself but he refused to print out the results for me! I have never had a doctor refuse this in my life. He told me that I needed to go online & setup an account to get them. He gave me the website and the
website did not provide the results. I had to call his office & plead with them to send me the results. Once I received the results it turned out that my cholesterol was high & my blood sugar was at a pre-diabetic stage. This man told me everything was normal! I saw another doctor after I read the results who immediately ordered more blood work & put me on Lipitor. When I called
Mehta to ask him about it he had nothing to say for himself. Needless to say Mehta is no longer my primary physician and I would not recommend him to anyone. He is a horrible incompetent Doctor in my opinion. Do yourself a favor
and find someone else..
