I have never experienced anything like I did when I took my daughter to dr niran Al-agba.

The office was unclean and the staff was rude and that was the best of my experience there.
My daughter was very sick and threw up on the floor while we were waiting (into our 2nd hour)
When dr. Niran Al-Agba came in shortly after hearing my daughter throwing up she became abusive and insulting. Telling my 7 year old she was being disrespectful.

The dr. then turned to me and said that it was obviously a disciplinary problem happening at home the abuse continued and escalated to the point that the dr threatened to not give my daughter the prescription that she needed to be well. This sent me into a state of shock. My daughter needed antibiotics and it was late in the day on a Friday and this monster was holding her script threatening not to give it to me so I stayed quiet and let the dr tell me all about what a poorly behaved daughter I had and how its my fault she could not control herself to the point of making it to the toilet to puke.
It got much worse and I left in a state of shock. Im still beside myself about the things this person said. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this and I have a medical background and know that this sort of behavior from a dr is inexcusable.
First is to do no harm.
Well I got the prescription and left and Ill never ever forget this experience. Ever.

Please please save yourself and your children and stay away from this place. It was bazaar and Im just grateful these sort of people are few and far between
wish I could give them a ngative star rating

Our children are second generation Al-Agba patients. We've always been pleased with the quality and time given to us and our children for all visits. Anytime our children have come in for an illness, we've always been encouraged to call the office if we have further concerns or questions. In fact, the doctors even came back to the office, after hours, when one of our children was extremely ill. I don't think we could get this type of attentiveness elsewhere. We also appreciate that both doctors treat parents as intelligent people who are on the same level. When we have questions, the doctors always answer in great detail, provide diagrams, charts, and even have sent us home with the latest literature they've come across.

Pros: Open Most Saturday Mornings, Attentive, Listens Well, Encourages Parent Questions, Good With Kids

Cons: Closed on Thursdays

Awesome doctor! Our first visit was 8/13/08 and I was very impressed. He listened attentively and was willing to do the tests my son needed because I was worried about him. He didn't discourage our natural treatment preferences and use of vitamins, he was willing to partner with us. He is going to help our son recover from autism!

My family has been seeing doctor Al-Agba for over 20 years. Dr. Saad Al-Agba has seen all 3 of our children. This office is the safest office we have ever been to. The doctors are wonderful and will take care of your children to the best possible standards. I do not have anything bad to say about them, and sincerely doubt the judgment of anyone who does. If you have only seen a doctor for a week or so and feel the need to bash the doctor for your lack of responsibility there is no doubt in my mind that your serious lack of knowledge on the subject of taking care of a child came into play. Doctor Al-Agba is the best Pediatrician in the area and would refer him to anyone of my friends.

Dr. Al-Agba is the pediatrician I took my FIVE MONTH old baby to. I took him to find out what was causing a rash he had, that started on his tummy, and spread to the rest of his body. It looked like pimples, white heads. They became bigger and nastier, looking identical to adolescent acne. Anyway, after examing these "pimples" Dr. Al-Agba told me that it was an alergic reaction, that was definitly not a food allergy. He told us to come home and give our baby 2 oatmeal baths daily, and it would go away. The next couple days, the symptoms worsened. One morning my baby was not acting himself. He was sluggish, and tired, and cranky. Normally a very cheerful, alert baby we were concerned. By evening he was full force angry if he was awake, which wasn't often. After checking his temperature, it was about 99.9 or so and continued to climb. We gave him baby Tylenol which helped a little, for a while. Then it went right back up, and got to 102.1. We took him to the Emergency Room. Short story long, we were admitted after 5 hours in the ER and spent 3 days in the NICU for a MRSA Staph infection. The ER doctor almost didn't see it, and not until we pointed out the area of concern did she investigate and discover what it was. Thanks to Dr. Al-Agba, and the ER doctor at Harrison Hospital my baby could have suffered MUCH worse effects. His entire leg swelled with in an hour or so of being admitted, and had to be drained of over two tablespoons of pus. Dr. Al-Agba missed that staph which is what the rash was originally. It could have been cured before it ever caused all the issues it did.

Pros: None, not only was the Doctor who's been in the practice OVER TEN YEARS clueless, but his staff was rude and cold.

Cons: Misdiagnosis, and dangerously so.
