.

Cold, aloof, rude, arrogant and sarcastic to the patient. That will never contribute to patient trust. She was totally unprepared although we had faxed our paperwork to her office over 2 1/2 months prior to waiting 3 months for the appointment. A very hope dashing experience. She forgot the first lesson of medical care....CARING. Nobody cares how much you know, what is important to the patient is how much you genuinely care.

Totally disinterested in the patient's catastrophic accident history and surgery and when asked for her help to 'quarterback' the various medical components, she refused. Put blinders on and would not treat the WHOLE picture especially when everything hinges upon the core disease, diabetes. Intransigent. Narrow minded.

Instead, she handed the patient a $1.00 booklet to record blood sugars and diet and left for lunch. Big whoop. And we waited 3 months for THIS appointment?
