HORRIBLE experience with this Dr and staff. They lie to people and insurance companies....STAY AWAY from him. I found online that his license has been taken away a few times.
Not clean at all and VERY rude.

Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out at once. Dr El Deeb was very assuring and very gentle, made sure he answered all my questions and concerns before the procedure. You can Immediately tell that he Very Professional and Very Experienced at what he does. I was put to sleep. I spent less than 30 minutes in the operating room. I had no complications afterwards. He gave me His Personal Cell# in case of any emergency. The Staff were very Nice and caring, took care of everything Very Professionally. I had no Problems with my appointment.Personally I recommend Dr El Deeb to any Family member or Friend Seeking a Highly Skilled Oral Surgeon.

I thought Dr EbDeeb was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He made certain I understood what my tooth condition was and suggested treatment plan.. We discussed the treatment and I felt very comfortable with having it done and with him completing my treatment. I am very grateful for all of his knowledge and great customer service skills.

I was referred to Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS by my physician following a life-threatening experience with an abscessed molar that had further caused a raging infection in my sinuses, cheek, jaw and eye in only a matter a day. An experience that had me sick, bed-ridden and on round the clock IV antibiotics for nearly three days to bring the infection under control prevent blindness, brain damage and potential death.

Although my doctor told me that the dentist would not be able to perform any other than a basic consult (because the area was still swollen and infected) my doctor felt a consult would be a good idea.

So the day immediately following my release from the hospital I went to visit Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS. The front office was pleasant and I was called in after only a few minutes for x-rays and then led to an examination room.

The dental assistance minutes later arrived and displayed my x-rays and shortly after Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS entered the room and introduced himself. Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS was right to the point in his approach to me sating that he could perform the procedure at that very moment. However, it would require that I provide $850 cash (no checks or credit cards) for general anesthesia. When I informed Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS that I did NOT have $850 cash, he offered to do the procedure instead with a local anesthetic.

When Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS suggested doing this procedure with merely a local anesthetic, I pointed out the FACT that because of the infection present a local anesthetic would literally have little or no effect at all in minimizing pain for a procedure that would involve cutting through my gum tissue and removing the remaining fragments of a broken molar tooth. This reasonable common sense question brought an unepected angry response from Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS who acted insulted and alleged that he was a college professor at the University of Minnesota for over 20 years.

When I further questioned Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS about my concerns about doing surgery with the presence of such infection, he sharply admonished me and remarked that my doctors and other dentists (that had earlier told me it was dangerous to perform such dental procedure with such an active infection) were "wrong" and lacked the "expertise" to make such a claim and then reiterated that he was an alleged professor of dentistry for 20 years at the U of M.

Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS then looked in my mouth using a dentist mirror and roughly pushed upon my swollen gum and as through he were intentionally attempting to burst the swelling in my gums. A short second later, I could taste the the foul taste of pus in my mouth and in my defense inquired why he had done that... and added how other doctors had repeated warned me that bursting these pus pockets would release potentially "dangerous toxins" into my mouth that could create serious health problems.

Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS seemed VERY concerned with what I said about his bursting such infections and quickly attempted to placate me stating he would prescribe a mouth rinse to correct the problem. Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS then went directly back to pushing me with a hard-sell to go through with the procedure to remove my tooth using an ineffective local anesthetic... adding that this was a my one and only chance for treatment and that his next earliest appointment was at the end of the following month.

When I expressed my concern with Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS about the ineffectiveness of a local anesthetic, he openly conceded that it "very likely would NOT work" and spoke to me with a tone as if I was being unreasonable. Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS then asked about the $850 for a general anesthetic even questioning whether my brother (who drove to the appointment) had any money or any friends or family could come up with the money.

Frustrated I left his office in complete disbelief that a licensed dentist would have such ill-concern for his patients that he would actually be ready and willing to perform oral surgery WITHOUT anesthesia! And that his interest seemed only based in money (cash money to be specific).

Once I got home no better for the two hour long drive, I checked the Internet to see if anyone else had had problems with Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS and sure enough, they had and it turned out that he had been reprimanded several times by the State of Minnesota for poor dentistry practices, illegal billing, and had his license to practice dentistry made "conditional" and he was to practice under close governed supervision.

I would strongly advise against seeking treatment from Dr. Mohamed E. El Deeb, DDS under any circumstances until you have read his reviews and reviewed his many state reprimands and then decide for yourself if this is the type of person you feel comfortable with working on your teeth or those of your family.
