I saw Dr. Parmar at LICH. I have had a lot of tonsil infections and was getting tired of having sore throats 6 times a year. He was very thorough and informative. He listened to me and my concerns. He was very accommodating and switched around his schedule so that I could have my operation before I went away for my semester abroad. Overall: five stars.

I went to Dr. Parmar for throat discomfort. After spending a great deal of time and patience making sure that I was sufficiently numbed for the scope, he proceeded to examine my throat with utmost gentleness and tenacity. It was tricky and time consuming but he finally located the source of my discomfort: a tiny hairline fishbone, lodged deeply in the recesses of my throat.

He then proceeded to painlessly remove the fishbone with great care, sparing me what might have otherwise become an infectious complication. All the while, he kept me abreast of every maneuver he was about to make so that there were no surprises and no unexpected discomfort, which was my primary concern.

Dr. Parmar was professional, patient (given the stubborn location and minuscule size of the fishbone), and highly attentive. I particularly appreciate his concern for my comfort, especially because I have been scoped before and it was a very painful experience when my previous doctor neglected to numb my nose and throat first. For this reason alone, Dr. Parmar gets top ratings worthy of the time it takes to write one of these reviews.

Excellent doctor! Dr. Parmar helped treat my mother for cancer of the voicebox. She was diagnosed for cancer at another hospital by a doctor who does not specialize in cancer like Dr. Parmar. My mom doesnt speak english and Dr. Parmar was very patient and helped me get my mom's slides, her outside records, and did additional tests like a PET scan that the other hospital did not do. He had all the outside information reviewed again and helped me and my mom understand what everything meant. He also spoke to my older brother in North Carolina many times to keep him updated on everything that was going on. His help and care made my mother and family remain strong in a time when it was easy to not be. When all the workup was complete, he made arrangements for us to see the radiation doctors right away. He was compassionate, professional and honest. He never rushed through the visits, never made us feel "dumb" and personally called me one night after a long day in the operating room to give me the results of my mom's tests like I had asked him to. I wish all doctors were like him.

I saw Dr Parmar at LICH for my ear. He was wonderful, and enthusiastic. He is quite bright, and it is clear he enjoys helping people. Over all, he is a 10 out of 10!

I have been seeing Dr. Parmar for treatment of my thyroid cancer. He performed a total thyroidectomy and bilateral neck dissections on me and my recovery has been great! I was referred to him by my endocrinologist who has been following me for my enlarged thyroid gland when I developed enlarged lymph nodes which my doctor said were suspicious. Prior to seeing Dr. Parmar, I searched the internet and did my homework on thyroid cancer. The day I saw him I was very anxious and scared and thought I was dying. He was very compassionate, and put me at ease. He was very smart, did the appropriate tests, and scheduled me for surgery ASAP. My incision has healed great, I have had no calcium problems, and my voice is perfect. He has been a great doctor through out my recovery. On one visit I was really stressed about other things going on in my life and he made me feel a million times better--it had nothing to do with my thyroid cancer but he listened and made me feel normal. I would and have recommended Dr. Parmar to my family. I am blessed to have him in my life.

The office environment was a bit nasty and not organize very well. I am a student of interior design. Trust me, this is how I know how human needs comfort by cleaning and lighting are priority for human satisfaction. Some of the staffs are unfriendly to clients. Some of them are rude and unprofessioanl their jobs.

Dr. Perminder S. Parmar began practicing since 2009. At first when I met him for the first time, I thought he followed my answered from his questions and looked carefully of my nose and throat from cat scan mri.. The 2nd time and 3rd time I didn't make it to come for the appointments due to I was stressed out that day I had classes. His schedule and my schedule were not matching.. The 4th time I finally came to the appointment because my spring semester was over.. He was VERY RUDE and told me that I was fine like the other people have. He thinks I was faking and wanted to have surgery. I was like what the hell he was talking about and I got lost what was he saying. He said my breath was fine. Inside of my nose is still have problems and got stuffing on and off for many years. I got tired of it. He got my cat scan mri and document paper information at the beginning which he ALREADY KNOW IT and explained to me everything of my chose to have medicine for the rest of my life or surgery for once in a lifetime. I chose surgery because I will not remember the time to take the medicine since I am a full time student college. He said to let him know when I come back to the appointment to choice medicine or surgery. When I came back to the appointment and told him to choice surgery. He recommended me to take the medicine instead of surgery. What the hell again, he told me to choice one surgery or the medicine for the rest of my life. I told him at the beginning that I am not interested to take medicine for the rest of my life. He said to me if I will be okay to pain after surgery. I told him the pain is going to be a short time instead of taking medicine for the rest of my life if I have no time to go to the pharmacy store or forget the time to take the medicine.. He said most people preferred to take the medicine for the rest of their lives instead of surgery. It is their decision but my decision is not theirs. He said I canceled the appointment was because I had a good time and go anywhere else. I told him that I was stressed out that day and he was like "what kind stress?" I said "school and homework" and he said "what kind school and homework".. What the hell he was TALKING ABOUT. He should have followed the documents instead knowing of my business life. He laughed when I told him that I paid one of the medicine and one of the medicine paid by the Medicare. I was like what the hell he was laughing and he said "no, the Medicare must be paying everything" and asked me how much I spent the medicine which I don't really recalled how much.. HUH!? What kind his job laughing to his clients.... Unprofessional job for his patients. No wonder why he is been practicing his job since 2009.
