I had never been to a gynecologist before I became pregnant. When I got there I was a little nervous especially since I was seeing a male doctor. I perfer women. Just me I gues. Through the entire process he made me feel comfortable and was making me laugh. Being 18 and pregnant was a major deal for me. Starting school with a newborn was crazy. Dr. Parshad was always there and always listened and did not look at me like I was stupid for having a kid so young. He comforted me because I was scared. During labor he was at the hospital and was in my room every hour to check on me. He was there to comfort me whe I was having a contraction whnever he was able to. (never had so much pain in my life). It ended up that I was not progressing like he wanted me to so I had to go in for an emergency c-section. That had to be the scariest thing ever. I hate surgery. Every day after the c-section he was in the room to make sure I was alright. After the second day though I was ready to go home. He was asking if I would stay another day for him, but I was not having it. He let me go home and everyday after he called to check in on me. He is an amazing doctor. I would recommend him to anyone he is professional and is not rude like any doctor.

Dr. Parshad is kind and caring. Starting with my first visit he was wonderful. I had to have surgery which he did. He called me a few days later and made sure i was doing well and to see if I needed anything. This is truly a great Doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parshad's for the delivery and OB care of 3 of my four children. After my first OB stopped delivering he recommended Dr. Parshad. All of my pregnancies have been difficult, and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I have called at all hours and no matter what, he gets back to me a quick as he can. 5 years ago I moved to Baltimore County, and although it takes me 45 minutes to get to his office because of traffic, I have never considered switching doctors. I know if he tells me something needs to be done, it is not for money, it is for concern over my health or the baby's health. I needed to have a partial hysterectomy after my last child, because my body was falling apart! I had people telling me to get second opinions because I was so young, but you know what? I trust him with my health and my life as well as the lives of my last 3 children. After talking with him and doing research, I knew it was the right decision. I have never had another doctor that is so willing to listen, and that is what makes a great doctor.

Pros: Attentive, Concerned, Compassionate, Knowledgeable, and Kind

Cons: sometimes the wait is a little long with emergencies, but he is an OB!

Dr. Parshad is the ob/gyn you want with you when you arrive at a rough patch. I had two high-risk pregnancies, and Dr. Parshad was attentive and caring and concerned and on top of the latest strategies for a successful delivery. During my second pregnancy, I had almost every complication you could imagine. But Dr. Parshad took the time to explain each development to me as it occurred. When the time came for delivery, he didn't pass me off to some other doctor. He was there, and that was such a comfort. For the second pregnancy, he arrived at the hospital *just* as a major complication occurred. Despite needing to perform a crash c-section, Dr. Parshad kept his cool and saved my baby's life. I owe him gratitude that I will never be able to properly show.

We recently moved, and losing Dr. Parshad as my doctor was my greatest disappointment.

Pros: He's incredibly capable and concerned

Cons: Because he takes such care with his patients, at times your appointment is late

Dr. Parshad has been my ob/gyn for >6 years. He delivered both of my children and I trust him with my life. No matter how crazy his world is at the time of your appointment, you will feel like you are the only woman in the office. He is patient and kind, he never minimizes your concerns and he always listens. He is the best !
