I came in for PT after surgery to repair a meniscus tear on the recommendation of a friend. Gabe was my therapist and he did a great job getting me back on my feet and helping me deal with my impatience over the pace of the healing process.

Aides, Ashley and Laura were terrific and made the sessions fun rather than dreaded. I would not hesitate to go back but hope I never need to.

I had a knee injury that was misdiagnosed and mistreated for months by various doctors and led to atrophy of the muscle in addition to the pain from the injury. When I finally was prescribed PT I went to Paspa on the recommendation of a top sports doctor in the city. I was immediately struck by the friendliness and warmth of the entire staff--they each made a point to call me by my name from the beginning which made me feel welcome and indicated to me that taking a personal and attentive approach with their patients was important to them. My therapist, Gabe, was thoughtful and deliberate from the initial evaluation on, and did an amazing job of communicating what my path to recovery would be in a frank but compassionate way. After 4 months of therapy my pain subsided and my strength returned. I have since had 2-3 injuries for which PT was required and I received the same professional and thorough treatment each time.

I trust Paspa not just because of the successful treatment I have received, but also because of the helpful and kind staff they choose to carefully employ, both as assistants and at reception. I have referred a number of colleagues and friends to them over the past year and will continue to do so.

Let's face it, no one wants to go to physical therapy. We go there because we need it, and I especially needed it after rotator cuff surgery. Pam Paspa and her team have taken excellent care of me from day one. The therapists (Pam most of the time, but also the rest of the evening group) push me, but not too far. They explain the overall recovery plan, but also adapt it to my individual case. Pam consults with my surgeon every month or so, and he has been impressed with my progress. The aides are friendly and personable and make the exercises go quickly. The facility is airy and clean, with excellent equipment and nice views to the rooftops of NYC.
PS: I noticed that a lot of people did not like the elevators. Maybe because I usually have evening appointments, the elevator is usually waiting for me!

I had terrible back pain after an unhealthy routine of bad gym habits. And then there was Paspa. I was enthusiastically referred by my doctor and knew that it was the right place for me after the very first visit. I got a friendly reception and my time with the therapist was both productive and enjoyable. The Aides were a great help and very knowledgeable as well, especially michelle... i highly recommend this facility.

Cons: I got better too soon

This office had been recommended by my former surgeon as well as a work colleague. My experience was regrettably insufficient. I thought that I would be granted much more time with the physiotherapist. However, I instead was moved off to two other young women who didn't appear to understand my physical problem. Perhaps I am used to a European type of health in which the physiotherapist directs the entire appointment with a consistent focus. It is a pity that I cannot recommend this office for therapy, despite the kindness of the reception.

Pros: private room

I had therapy last spring/summer and was able to lower my back pain quite a bit. I worked with most of the therapists and they were very professional. The aids who direct exercise are very helpful. The staff is pleasant , even though my appointments were put at the wrong time (frequently). All in all, a good experience. The bathroom could be cleaner !

I returned to this office for therapy for a new injury after a really good experience two years ago. But this time was very different and I am disappointed in the service.
I asked for my old therapist, Amy, but she was no longer working there.
This time, the therapist rushed and didn't really listen during the first session. It was obvious she did'nt even remember me at the next meeting. There was more time spent with the assistants doing exercise then time with the therapist.
Unfortunately, I won't be going back to Paspa Therapy.

paspa pt is staffed by consummate professionals who do everything in their power to motivate, encourage, and instruct their clients so they can reap the maximum benefit from therapy. each and everyone, from the front desk to the therapists and aides, is kind and attentive, making what could be an unpleasantly anticipated process so much more bearable. and, as a result of their knowledge, my therapist and aides were able to adjust my schedule and get me ahead of it in terms of my recovery. i recommend paspa pt to anyone requiring physical therapy, especially in the midtown area. the facility is so well-equipped and maintained it was a pleasure spending so much time there over the last 5 months. my hat is off to pam and her staff, including gabe, michelle, laura, rachel, jerry, and nancy. thank you thank you thank you.

I had a really bad accident while on vacation. I dislocated my shoulder on the golf course. I went to Paspa Physical Therapy for 2 reasons. My doctor highly recommended the place and I worked just a few blocks away. I was really concern at first with physical therapy because I didn't know what to expect. I must say that the staff was really friendly and helpful when I first got there. My therapist was highly recommended by my doctor so I trusted her alot. After 2 months of physical therapy I feel like a new happy person. Thanks you Paspa for helping me with my recovery.

Pros: great office hours and very knowledgable staff

I've had quite a few injuries and a lot of therapy. The care at Paspa is top notch- and I've worked with each of their therapists along the way. I've had therapy at places where they seem quite happy to take your hard-earned money in exchange for hot packs, ice, and about 2 minutes of time with the therapist! The experience at Paspa is different. They also seemed to have good dialogue with my orthopedists.

I am a senior citizen and I was afraid to go to physical therapy after my injury. My therapist was Keith Peterson and he made me feel comfortable right away. His assistants were kind and very helpful to me. They were able to answer all of my questions and made my therapy great. The front desk staff were able to make all of my appointments with no problem. Nancy took care of all of my billing issues with medicare and I didn't have to worry about any additional bills. This office is great and I made sure that I passed along their business cards. Thank you Keith for being such a great therapist.

When I first went to Dr. Metzel and he told me that I had to go to physical therapy, I was concern about finding a good place that can help me with my injury. He recommended Paspa Physical therapy. I visited their website and was very impressed with it. I called the office with all my insurance information and the front desk was very helpful. They prepared all my insurance forms and made it easy for me to set up all of my appointments. My therapist, Gabriel Manzon was like a miracle worker. Their billing person took care of all of my insurance paper so I didn't have to worry about it. I loved this place and I recommended it to a few of my co-workers. Paspa Physical therapy is great, their front desk is always friendly and quick to help whenever you need it. The aides are very friendly. Thank you Paspa Physical Therapy for helping me.

I definately would not recommend this facility to anyone. The therapists and the owner made me feel so uncomfortable. I left the office with more pain than when I went in. The front desk and the aideswere terrible. When I did make the appointments they were all screwed up. The worst was the office manager, Nancy Morales. She was very rude, even on the phone. The therapist would treat you in a room and then hand you off to an aide. The the aide had no idea what she was doing, did not correct me if I was doing something wrong. It is the worst place I've ever been to. Never again!!!

I have suffered from numerous ankle injuries for the past 6 years therefor I have seen many different physical therapists. Pamela is an amazing physical therapist and it is because of her that I did not have to have surgery again. She was able to give me everyday exercises to help strengthen my ankle that I do by myself. I highly recommend her to anyone!!!!

I've gone to Paspa for three different periods over 3 years. The staff is almost uniformly warm and friendly, the equipment is up to date, the physical therapists span the range of styles from cautious (Keith) to aggressive (Kristin) (allowing the patient to work with someone that fits their speed and style), and the 1 on 1 care is great. I went to other places near wear I live and they were so poor by comparison that I am back at Paspa. I highly recommend it.

From now on I'll pick my own places for treatment and unfortunately, this won't be one of them...Not the friendliest place and it didn't get much better from there. I felt like everyone must get the same thing I did - not really specialized and I didn't really feel much diferent after two visits so I stopped. I'm sure there's lots of goodplaces out there - just have to find them!

I have been visiting PASPA PT for far longer than I care to admit. This is by no means through the fault of my physical therapist or the treatment I have received. On the contrary, they have made a very long & difficult recovery bearable and even enjoyable. I have never met a nicer group of professionals. They are courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, patient and very very personable. The facility is clean, fully equipped and very pleasant. I've had experience with other PT facilities and while I had no complaints about their staff or service either, PASPA is far superior. Appointments are always available and I'm very rarely kept waiting.

I have been a patient a few times in the past for various injuries and have always received great treatment on my road to recovery. Over the years the place has expanded and has transformed for the better. The variety of equipment and treatment methods have made my experiences enjoyable. The clinic has a comfortable environment with friendly staff. The location and long hours makes it easy to keep appointments.

I found Paspa to be a pleasant experiance. The Doctor and the Aides are wonderful. The facility has a large gym and late hours. Everyone there is also very friendly. I have been going there for 3 months now and i am more then satisfied with the level of care I've recieved. I give them a 10.

My therapist made me uncomfortable. I do not consider myself homophobic but the way he touched me seemed a little too hands on. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the front desk was efficient in booking my appointments. Location is convenient but I think I will ask my doctor for another place to go for my lower back pain.

I was referred to Paspa PT after a secondary side-effect injury following a surgery. Not only were they knowledgeable, educated, and friendly, but they did an excellent job on both the second injury as well as helping me with some residual strength and range of motion problems from the first injury. I would certainly recommend them for any range of issues requiring PT. I just wish my insurance company hadn't decided that I was healthy and cut me off.

My experience with Paspa was a great experience. The therapy helped me alot. I really enjoyed the great and friendly workers, they were there to answer every question that I had. The front desk was great with my co-pay setups and they were very friendly. The only complaint that I can say is that sometime my therapist kept we waiting a little too much but other wise everything was great!! If you need physical therapy this is the place to go.

As a personal trainer, I'm a discerning customer. My previous experiences with physical therapy (on more than one occasion!) involved "hot pack, a couple of latex band exercises, electric stimulation, ice pack"
After rotator cuff surgery, my surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery assured me that rehab at Paspa would be different....It sure was!
Not only did I regain full use of my left shoulder, but my therapist helped me to transition back to my gym routine. I also learned a lot about avoiding injury---a "must" for my profession. Incidentally, an early positive sign for success was seeing a former NFL Hall of Fame running back in the office on my second day of therapy....I figured that if this facility was good enough for him, it was going to work for me....I now have the results I was looking for.

I ruptured my Achilles tendon and had surgery in June. I've got to say that the real healing happens in physical therapy. I had no range of motion and couldn't walk. Pam Paspa has guided me through a multi-month regimen of on-site and at home exercises and I am healing beautifully. I am walking normally and increasing my strength to the point where I will be able to play sports again. The facility is clean, spacious and the staff is very friendly, cheerful and caring.

They also deal with the insurance companies so I don't have to! (Especially with my insurance, Oxford, which continuously sends me letters approving only a partial number of visits.)

Pros: Service, near Penn Station, accomodating on schedule

.

This is by far the best physical therapy facility I have ever visited and I have been to several both here in Manhattan and Long Island. Pam Paspa and her staff have been providing me with excellent treatment over the past year for both my lower back pain and rehabilitation after shoulder surgery. All of the therapists who have treated me (and I have seen them all over the past year!) possess more than the requisite experience, skill and compassion. Moreover, the level of care is enhanced by an ample number of helpful and friendly therapy aids assisting the therapists at all times with patients. The receptionists could hardly have been any more accomodating of my crazy schedule. The facility itself is spacious, clean and filled with state of the art exercise equipment. Bottom line - If you work in the the Penn station area or you commute through Penn Station -- this is the place to go for physical therapy!

I've suffered from neck pain for many years but thanks to my physical therapist Amy at Paspa Physical Therapy, I can happily say I'm painfree!!! I've tried physical therapy in the past but now that I've experienced physical therapy at Paspa, I realize that I just wasn't getting the right treatment. My therapist was extremely knowledgable about my particular condition and was always willing to make changes when things weren't helping or working out. She was very patient and really worked with me on an individual basis to get me to where I am today. In addition to my therapist, the rest of the staff were equally as friendly and helpful and all seemed to care about my well-being. I hardly ever had to wait to start my appointment either, which was a huge plus because I had to come during my lunch break and only had limited time before I had to get back to work. They are open from 7am-8pm too, which is great for anyone who works in the area that needs to schedule it around their work day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!

They are open from 7am-8pm too, which is great for anyone who works in the area that needs to schedule it around their work day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Pros: experienced and knowledgable staff, no wait time, convenient hours

Cons: none

This was not my first physical therapy experience. I had already been to a few places in Manhattan. When my doctor recommended to me that I come to Paspa Physical Therapy I was skeptical at first, however my experience at Paspa was GREAT!!. The staff was warm and friendly, my therapist, Pam, had years of experience and is trained in manual therapy. Within a few treatment sessions my low back pain was significantly better. Pam seemed to know exactly where the problem was and what treatment to perform. I had worked with two other therapists there and also found them to be excellent. The facility was clean and airy, there were private treatment rooms, and I never had to wait for my appointment. Thank you Paspa you guys were great. JB456

My first contact with Paspa therapy was by phone and I was very insulted by the manner in which I was received. The phone representative was impatient and rude but I made an appointment anyway because they were recommended by my physician. Sadly, the first day at that office was no better and I was treated impersonally. Two weeks was all I could manage to finish as I was no longer able to tolerate the overall attitude of my therapist and the reception staff. Not suprisingly, I experienced no relief of knee pain. A poor experience to say the least.

Gabriel, at Paspa, PT is a highly skilled and knowledgeable therapist who also cares about his clients. He was recommended to me by three coworkers who all have the same things to say about him. He is above and beyond compared to the other therapists that I've worked with. If not for him, I would still be suffering, physically and emotionally from my chondromalacia. He is a very compassionate therapist who helped me understand how to get my knee better and I am so grateful to him for that!
