I began to see Dr. Craven when Dr. Sating retired. I had tried a few others, but none were very precise, careful, or would take the time with me that I required. I have very sensitive eyes. My eyes can detect changes that they should not be capable of perceiving so I want to have someone take time with me when I get my eyes examined for glasses. Dr. Craven was referred to me by my family doctor. He has been very thorough. In the past, he has taken time with me to answer all my questions. Recently he did cataract surgeries for my husband's eyes. He has done my eye exam for years. His office got me in on short notice when I saw flashing lights at the corners of my eyes and was afraid I might have a problem with the retina. He helped prescribe my migraine headaches as a result of this visit. On my most recent visit I felt that he was rushed and that he spent less time with me than he had in the past. He had a technician do most of the actual vision test while he did all of the medical exam. I would have felt better if he had done the vision exam as he had in the past. When I had questions about the prescription, his staff was almost rude and very unhelpful. In the past, the doctor would put the prescription in a frame and double check the measurements, but he did not do this nor did the technician. I was disappointed, but he is a very good doctor and most others are not as knowledgeable, careful, or precise as he is. I would trust him to do surgery on my eyes if they required it.
