Ms. Alsept gave me excellent care at a time in my life when I was barely able to function enough (in my perception) to keep my job and remember important events in my personal and professional life. This was due to depression and anxiety. Ms. Alsept deftly prescribed medications for me and explained how they worked and the risks and possible side effects I might encounter. She helped me make decisions when I was at my worst, otherwise she always asked me what I wanted to do when I began to feel like myself. She does not have office staff and does her own scheduling and a lot of the billing so I wasn't sure how to answer that question, but she did a good job at it all. She also did therapy with me which ended up being the key to getting over the whole thing and not being Paula's patient anymore. At the end, Paula said she loves patients getting well and "graduating", but that they are always welcome to come back for their Masters Degree if they need to. When I started to get better I started to realize that she is sometimes very funny.
