Dr. Hayes is the best! We love her. I have a 2 year old daughter and she is very thorough on all of her exams. I would recommend her to anyone. Ther are also two other doctors in the office so if she is booked, you can see any of them. However, it is not a problem to book an appointment because they have evening hours three days a week as well.

I agree with the other two posts. This office is awful. We saw Dr. Grace Ahad in Sept of 2007 for a routine check up for our 4 year old daughter. After looking at a spot on her ear for less than a minute, she said it looks like she has melanoma! Just like that, she blurted out that my 4 year old had skin cancer. I started crying and she asked me why I was upset. I told her that I was upset because she just diagnosed my daughter with skin cancer. She acted like I was out of line for being upset! I told her that if she wasn't 100% sure to please quit using the "Melanoma" word! At that point, it was like every other word out of her mouth was melanoma. She has the worst bed side manor of any doctor I've ever met. What an idiot. Turns out she was completely wrong. We took out daughter to a dermatologist who was livid that Dr. Ahad had scared us for no reason. If she was concerned about the bump, then she should have said we needed to get it checked out, not diagnose her with melanoma. Her misdiagnosis caused a lot of anxiety and worry that were needless; the effects of which I still suffer from to this day, Dr. Ahad should not be allowed to work with the public....I called to complain, leaving a message for two of the other partners in the office, but never received a return call. I was not surprised.

I really enjoyed the doctor, and was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of her examination. However, the staff needs better training. My son (4) needed his vaccinations, and the nurse reprimanded him for crying about being scared, telling him he was too old to cry and he better stop. (As if that helps, lol). When he tried to sit up afterwards, she grabbed his legs very roughly and YELLED at him, telling him he better not move. She got right in his face, almost nose to nose. I thought this was an incredibly inappropriate way to treat a small child who is frightened. I don't think I would be comfortable returning if the staff thinks that's how you deal with scared children.
