60yrs old and on disability. Go in for free dental exam and xrays. only want estimate. I have money and credit cards. They take my info and go online, whilst i sit in chair, and apply for a credit card in my name, and charge $5000 to it. Thought they had given me an estimate, but it was the Sales Draft on the new credit card. Never saw any xrays, dentist never consulted me, but seemed to want my gold bridges. I called them as soon as I realized what they had done and told the manager to NOT do this, I have cards and cash, and I didnt agree, she says she will get back to me, never does. After filing w Fed Trade Comm, Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, carecredit.com, ge capitol retail bank, Whittier police, I went back and managed to get them to give refund, but they kept $300, never got a detailed receipt, and was told they would deal with me at end of week when they decide what they are going to claim this money is for.
