Peninsula Women's Health: Lisa L Dyer, MD

Dr. Dyer is a unique find in an OB-GYN, one who listens to what you have to say and spends time with you. She always reviews the chart before entering the room and "knows" me. She asks pertinent questions and offers help/advice with any issues. She treats the whole patient, not just my girlie parts. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

I have seen Dr. Dyer a few times when my docter hasnt been in - she is very informative during exams and I would switch over to her if my doctor ever leaves. I find the office staff great. My mom has been going to Lisa for many years and when I moved here, she recommended Lisa without reservation. Trust your mom to take care of you. Dr. Dyer is personable and professional. She has children herself and is not bothered that you have to bring your little ones in with you (or she fakes it well!) She takes the time to answer your questions while you are in the office. That said, I have a real issue with her office's practices. It's a big practice and they overbook in my opinion and it is virtually impossible to get through to a doctor (unless you are in labor!) or get a prescription filled correctly without repeated calls to the office. Every time I have to deal with this, I seriously entertain jumping ship. But luckily, I don't have to deal with them often enough to tip the scales.
