.

My husband had an Atrial Fibrillation ablation procedure performed by Dr, Chang-Sing in 2002. The day after the procedure, his heart started to stop for 8-10 seconds at a time. Dr. Chang-Sing inserted a pacemaker due to sinus node dysfunction from damage where the ablation was performed in the heart. Never once after we left the hospital did Dr. Chang-Sing contact us to see how he was doing. Turns out, my husband continued having A-Fib for years until it worsened and he had another ablation at The Cleveland Clinic in Spring 2010. Doctors there wondered why Dr. Chang-Sing had performed the procedure in the ventricular area, not the atrial area and thus damaged the sinus node. My husband has had no recurrence of A-Fib and is completely asymptomatic. If you need a procedure done, you will be very happy with the #1 electrophysiology clinic in the country. The Cleveland Clinic.
