I disagree with the previous review. I am extremly happy with the service I have received from Dr. Pignatiello and his staff over the years.
Sounds like the poster just didn't want to pay her bill.

Do not go to this dentist! I went to have a crown put on and 3 months later my tooth was infected due to the crown not being put on right. The crown was 1200 dollars and I was making monthly payments and paid about 700 so far. My tooth started hurting a few weeks later but I was told that was normal. about 2 months later I ended up in the er with the worst pain I have ever felt. I went to a different dentist and he told me my tooth was infected. He also told me that I would need a root canal which is around 1,000 dollars and if they couldn??t save the crown I would have to pay for a new crown which would be about 1,100 dollars. I asked him why would under my crown be infected and he told me that the only reason why this would happen was the preparation of the crown was not done right. I ended up going to get to other opinions from other offices and they both said the same things. I finally called the dentist office who did my crown and let the secretary know the situation . I told her I would not be paying the balance on my account. I told her that I should be able to get my money back . she refused to listen to me and told me I owe them the money and it was my duty to pay it. I asked her why I was responsible to pay them when I already have to pay another dentist for a new crown and a root canal because their dentist made a mistake and that mistake caused my tooth to become infected why shouldn??t he have to pay? Her reply was they did me a service and after the crown was put in my mouth it was up to me! I said even if that means he didn??t do the job right? she replied that??s just your opinion and I said actually I went to 3 different specialist and they told me the facts! She then hung up on me. I went to this dentist believing that he would do a good job. He made a mistake and I understand people make mistakes but when you don??t take responsibility for your mistakes then that is a problem! I have been speaking to my lawyer and I have all the paper work I need and written documents from other dentists stating the reasons why my tooth was infected and what exactly he did wrong. I am in the process of filing a claim but I just hope no one has to go through what I had to. That is no way to run a business
