August 20, 2009, 8:25AM....(The front staff is there) I walked into the office and only one worker/femail was WORKING on the computer....again...She Was WORKING!
I walked to the desk and asked if I could make an appointment for my husband with Dr. Pettygrove for his results of his physical? She said "have a seat and someone would be with you in a minute". I went and weighed myself and then waited in the lobby....& waited...and waited.... I went back to the desk and asked if it would be easier to call to make an appointment? She said "yes, it would...they are all in the back eating or something". I pulled out my cell phone, in front of her, to call Dr. Pettygroves office, her office......and INSTANTLY... she YELLED....."COULD SOMEONE PLEASE COME MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THIS PATIENT!". (Very unprofessional) In less than a mega second... a girl came from the back of the office... with a very upset look on her face ..... like .... "Dont YELL at me"... and she was very polite to me and made my appointment. I have had another problem with the front staff but the Drs took care of it. I have been a patient of Dr. Pettygove for over 20 years...He is wonderful.... but if the front staff doesnt improve I might have to find another doctor. Dr. Pettygrove was at my mothers bedside when she died 17 years ago and helped me with my Dad when he died 16 yrs ago. I dont think I could have made that time without him. He is a very kind and concerned Doctor. I have also seen Dr. Singer in his office.. He is wonderful also. He helped me when I was so upset with the new front desk employee...wont mention names....and I have nothing but wonderful things to tell you about Dr. Singer. But please.... train your front staff to smile and thank each patient for coming to Prime Care. We are paying your salarys! Front desk just wants the pay check!!!

Pros: Dr. Pettygrove & Dr. Singer --- Wonderful Careing Drs.

Cons: Front Desk...They dont care about patients
