I came in for numbness in my fingers and pins and needles that would run from my shoulder blade down my arm. I also had constant pain in my neck. I had this for over 8 months. I tried everything! ...Acupuncture, deep tissue massage, etc. My doctor then recommended I go to physical therapy. I was reluctant because I had tried so many things and nothing seemed to even dent the symptoms.

I went into PRN once a week for 6 weeks. I was given exercises to do on my own also. I am so happy to say I have full feeling in my hand and absolutely no pain anywhere!

I am so grateful for Dr. Jensen's expertise!

I am so surprised to see a negative review listed. That?s too bad. I think the entire staff is awesome!

I am so greatful for Dr. Jensen's expertise!

That's too bad that someone had to write a bad review. My experience was nothing short of perfect! The front office explained my benefits before I even started. In fact, because my benefits didn't cover everything they were gracious enough to give me a discount on my services.

Thanks so much PRN!

I love PRN in Encinitas! They did a great job helping me with my back pain and were extremely helpful from the start. The girls in the front office clearly explained my benefits and my therapist was amazing. I had a much better experience here than at other clinics I?ve been too in the past. The staff was caring and really made me feel at ease. I am pain free now and would highly recommend this clinic. I?m surprised to see a negative review listed for this clinic, but it?s apparent they either aren?t writing about the same office, or didn?t listen to the explanation of their benefits. Take that one with a grain of salt!!
Go PRN!

Pros: Personal care and very comprehensive evaluation

Cons: Location is up a steep hill with no street side signage.

Having been in law enforcement for 33 years I am an expert in pain and physical therapy. The units that I have worked in and continue to be assigned in cause unbelievable havoc on anyone's body. Intensive training along with combating the most violent criminals in the State of California have left me with many injuries. I have been to physical therapists in the Encinitas area after surgeries for a broken neck and back injuries.
It was not until this year that I was referred to Reece Jensen at PRN Physical Therapy by a new doctor. I can tell you that Reece has done more for my pain and in getting me back on track than any other physical therapist(s) I have been to in the past. After checking with other people I found that Reece is the most known and respected therapist out there. I cannot say enough positive things about Reece's abilities and his great staff. If you are truly injured and in pain, I recommend Reece Jensen and the PRN Physical Therapy staff. It doesn't get any better than this.

My son and I went to the PRN Clinic Encinitas in person to find out how much their services would cost. We gave the office manager/receptionist the prescription from the doctor and our insurance card. We also informed her that we have a high deductible HSA insurance and wanted to know our portion of the cost should we decide to go ahead with treatment. She gave us the price of $80 per treatment which we were to pay in full each time he came.

. After my son stopped coming we were sent a bill for an additional $94.06. I immediately called and was told this $80 was just a partial payment, second phone call they called the $80 an estimate. Reece Jensen the owner informed me he it would have been impossible to give me an exact price in advance their billing is similar to an emergency room.

After this incident, I called my insurance company and they told me there was no reason PRN couldnt give me an exact amount of my payment responsibility before treatment was started.

In addition, I visited another Physical Therapy business to test this out. I gave them the EXACT same information I gave PRN; a copy of the prescription, my insurance card, and that the deductible was not paid up. It took them less than 2 minutes to give me the exact price. to the penny. They had all the information on a laminated chart according to insurance company and code.

PRN represented to me that they were giving me the cost I would have to pay. Then later they sent me a bill for 40% more. I would have never consented to the treatments at the higher cost. I think the office manager/receptionist could tell we were making a decision based on price and quoted a lower price so we would begin treatment.
