Dr. Li is not professional.
She and her receptionists were rude to patients. I always have to wait at leasat 1 hour and to 2.5 hours for my appointments. She called me fat and told me to stop eating so much.
I didn't show up to my last two appointments before I gave birth because she always made me feel like horriable, guilty every time when I see her. She always scares me that my baby will be too large to come out naturally. I ended up going to the Queens NY Hospital for my last two visits, when I got there a nurse just by feeling my belly was able to tell me my baby was not over weight, about 7 lbs. But Dr. Li never bothered to exam and confirms how big my baby was. Every office visit was so rushed and uneasy with the long wait.
She also black mailed me for having a government insurance and a private insurance. I was billed twice later for labor and delivery on both insurances, if not she will report me.

ABSOLUTE WORST place I've ever been to. I never write reviews but this doctor has no idea what she is doing. I have no idea how she has her license. She only saw me for 5 minutes and rushed me out, not answering any of my questions. The front desk staff are rude and unhelpful. Trying to make an appointment is like pulling teeth. One of them hung up on me as I was speaking. Will NEVER go here again!!!!!

My routine exam turned into a nightmare because they failed to follow routine safety precautions. I had to go get tested for possible HIV and STD infection and when I called to complain to the doctor she refused to speak to me. He assistant SANDY said you cant prove it and hung up on me. By far the worst doctor ever. The only thing she is good at is filling out insurance claim forms. I can not believe people like her are allowed to practice medicine. She takes advantage of the fact that she is in a majority immigrant neighborhood and most of her clients do not speak english so they dont know where to complain about her.

This place needs to be shut down. After weeks of finding out that I was pregnant I was in a hurry to see a doctor and decided to go with Dr. Li. WORST DECISION EVER.

1. The did not allow my husband to come into the room. And so he missed the first sonogram of the baby.
2. The wait is unbelieveably long. I had an appointment for 11:30. When i arrived there were already 19 patients.... and HOW exactly is one doctor going to see 19 patiends in a 2-3 hour time span. And when i approached the nasty receptionists about how the long the wait was going to be she just said " I dont know"
3. They do not cover up their urine samples.... They leave it open in the bathroom stalls. Makes you wonder how accurate the tests results are. The overall office does not look too clean on the inside.
4. And be careful with your billing. LOOK OVER EVERYTHING. I found out that they billed me twice for the procedures. That was the icing on their OVERPRICED procedures.
5. I have to pay $0.75 per sheet of medical records that I want to transfer over to my new OBGYN.

For me to take the time to sign up on this site and write this review. It is just THAT bad.

This is the worst office I have ever been to. I have been to this gynecologist for four years now and have never had one satisfactory experience. The girls that work at the receptionist desk are very unprofessional and are just plain rude. I received a call as a reminder of an appointment and was given an attitude due to poor reception with a "helloOoOo?!?!" I was informed that my medical insurance would cover the three HPV shots but I would have to pay up front first and was reassured that I would be reimbursed when they receive payment from the insurance company to find out a year later that they only reimburse a portion of it and when taken up with the billing department, they told me it could not be helped. When asking Dr. Qili questions, she is unattentative. Asked about causes for a reoccurring yeast infection, she responded it just happens. The waits are ridiculously long. Waited 2 1/2 hours to be seen for 3 minutes tops and then rushed out. Was hesitant to switch offices since this was my first experience with a gynecologist but this is just ridiculous.

Tarra M. from the previous review must be on some kind of medication or is a close relative to give Dr. QiLi Li such an over the top review. At best, she is an average doctor. I have felt that being a physician was just a job to her and holding a "doctor's" title was more important. I have since found another doctor that is sincerely compassionate about my well being.

This Doctor is the World's worse physician. She treated my wife like trash. Later. I did some research on her and had discovered that she lost your priviledges in New York Hospital of Queens. Therefore, she sends her patients to Flushing Hospital for deliveries. Any prominent Physician in Flushing must have priviledges in New York Hospital of Queens. I feel sorry for all the uninformed Asians that has her for a doctor.

It's such a relief, in a way, to know that I wasn't the only one who had a traumatic experience with this so-called doctor. From my first appointment as a first time expectant mother, I was nervous at my first ob-gyn appointment. I never felt any sensitivity or care from her. She wasn't gentle at all during examinations and would cut me off whenever I would ask a question or begin to walk out of the room as i began asking her questions. She never asked me how I was feeling. The worse thing she did was practically confirm that my child would be born with a birth defect her comments to "comfort" me were in her words, " think of it this way, not all of us can be perfect in this world. Some of us need to be handicapped." Thank god my son is now 9 months and is perfectly healthy. After about the fourth appointment I stopped seeing her. I can't even imagine what my son's birth would of been like if I would have stayed with her.

I was the one that wrote the posting back on Sept 19, 2007 and I decided to look up Dr. Qi Li Li's name. I was surprised and happy to see that so many people have written their experiences with her on this site. I feel bad that so many had to experience what I went through but hopefully we have saved many others from seeing her. Anyway, I always wanted to write a follow up on my comment but I just wanted the experience to go away, so I never came back onto this site. I did not go back to her for the removal of my polyp because I was so traumatized and I couldn't put myself through the pain again. It was the best decision ever. You really need to believe in your instinct and when something does not feel right, don't do it, especially when it has to do with your body. I went to a different doctor but I was still scared. While explaining to him of my situation and about the polyp, I started tearing when I came to the part about Dr. Li's examination. While on the examining table, I was so tense and wouldn't fully open my legs for him to examine me. I was truly scared and I was never like that before. He examined me and saw the polyp and I felt NO PAIN at all. He even removed it right away - NO PAIN. Right after seeing Dr. Li, I blamed myself for the pain - it must be the polyp that's causing the pain, the doctor couldn't have caused it. But after this doctor, I realized it wasn't me. It took me a while to forget about the experience and not be upset when I think back on it. I wish I can tell more people about Dr. Li because I'm sure there are still many people going through the pain and thinking it's part of the examination.

I have been seeing Dr. Li since 2005 and I have to tell you she is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. She overbooks patients, spends so little time with you after waiting over an hour despite having an appointment, and she never calls you or mails you a report regarding any tests that she took. She performed a surgery on me done on an outpatient basis but I was never warned that I will be on a general anesthesia. I went inside the room and I an anesthetist came in and gave me a shot of anesthesia. I went to sleep the whole time of the surgery. After a few hours, I was lying in a cubicle and I realized i was crying ( I guess after effects of the anesthesia). and then I went home by myself with my underwear covered with blood as they did not provide any pads after the surgery (and they didnt warn me to bring one either)...I couldnt believe I just had a surgery under a general anesthesia all by myself!
She doesn't have the heart of a doctor, especially when your an OB-GYN. I just switched doctors in westchester and i am so happy with the new OB-GYN that i found.

I have been going to Dr Qili Li for the past year, she is the most insensitive and inhumane individual i've ever met . My advice to anyone reading this is to avoid Dr Qili li at all costs . If not, i'm sure you will live to regret it . Also beware of her billing both you and the insurance company, right now i'm in the process of trying to get back money from her that she has collected from me aswell as my insurance company. She has no right to call herself a doctor, this profession is not for her.

It made me feel so great to see that people are coming forward and reporting what a rough, unprofessional doctor Dr. Li is. I had a really terrible experience as well. Dr. Li is really very rough and ill-suited to be a gynecologist. She's insensitive to patients' needs. She gave me no warning and just kept probing. She ordered a few blood tests, they all came back negative for this disorder, and she still diagnosed me with it, without any explanation. I walked out of her office just feeling awful about myself. That I was a weakling for not being able to take any pain (which she said out right), and mostly I just felt really embarrassed and traumatized by the whole experience. When I went back for the follow up (bad idea), she started talking about how I'd still be able to have children with fertility drugs and how a bunch of her patients loved her and swore to follow her even if she moved to Kentucky.

Anyways, please, please, please try to avoid her. Any other gynecologist in the area is better than she. She's not worth the wait time, even if there were none.

I actually have been seeing Dr. Qi Li Li for many years now and I liked her. Maybe because we have established a rapport over the years, she has taken more care with me. However, I did notice that at my last examination, she had been more brisk and she actually forgot to do a breast exam. I guess the quality will diminish when she has more patients and too busy to do a thorough job. I also had to wait a long time even though I had made an appointment. One thing I don't understand is why bother having appointments when you're going to overbook and everyone just ends up waiting? I also agree that seeing a gynecologist is a very sensitive situation. It makes you feel vulnerable when you are lying on the table and a stranger is putting objects inside of you. So I do think that being a gynecologist you have to be very gentle and considerate of the person in front of you. It is one thing for the reception to be rude, she is only making appointments, but it is bigger issue when the doctor is brusque. Message to the doctor: "Your patients are not just another thing to examine on a conveyor belt. You're not working in a toy factory."

Dr. Qili Li is horrible. She gave me so much pain that tears were just coming out. I have a REALLY high threshold of pain (I have had a razor cut into my skin w/o flinching) and yet she made me cry. I was screaming in pain when she was doing a check up on me and screaming that I am in pain, please stop. She did not. She then took out the swab stick and said she had to go back in to have another look. She went in so quickly that I was not ready and again I was screaming and screaming. She didn't even go in slowly or anything to ease my pain. She was so insensitive. When she finally came up, she saw my tears and started apologizing. She then told me I had a polyp and that I need to have it removed. She didn't explain any further. I had to ask her, what would happen and what size it is. She didn't offer any information or explanation until I asked her. Then she seemed so rushed, she was talking a mile a minute but not really giving very informational detail, then she was out the door while still talking. Also before all of this pain, I had waited over an hour to see her, then she asked me to take off my clothes while she was in the room. So I was laying on the examining chair under the sheet, then she came over and pretty much pulled the whole sheet away, leaving me exposed. She made me feel very uncomfortable. I was in pain for two hours after the exam and I was bleeding a lot internally. I didn't have blood in my urine but my fluids were completely dark red. I don't feel confident in her removing my polyp next week. I am very scared and upset. I hate her.

Don't get me wrong, this place is great, however the Dr. makes me uncomfortable. I mean the entire process of seeing a gynecologist is uncomfortable enough as it is, but the entire atmosphere itself seems very negative and just depressing. The receptionist all seem to talk to you with an attitude as well as the Dr. herself. I always felt that these places should have a safe and comfort zone environment where you can be relaxed as well as make you happy because expecting mothers come here and they are hoping for good news.
