I have been a patient of Dr Mancini for over 12 years, mainly when she practiced out of Pearl in Gahanna and now at Cardinal Eye Care in Worthington. Her care has always been outstanding and always completely professional. She always takes the extra time to chat and get to know me as a patient, asking about my kids, and understanding what issues or concerns I have about my vision. Also many times she's helped me to pick out new frames which eyedoctors usually don't take the time to do themselves.

Overall, trips to the eyedoctor are usually pretty routine events once a year or so and this doctor is really nice, professional, and seems to have a lot of longtime patients such as myself. I always feel I'm getting the best quality care from someone who is really intelligent, and cares about me. Also she's a fellow Buckeye who went to OSU Optometry School!

I get an eye exam only once a year. I want it to be thorough for obvious reasons. When i was with this Optometrist i got this feeling that she had better things to do than the job at hand. She suggested that since i was not having any problems with my vision she would not dilate my pupil. Dilating the pupil is an important part of a thorough eye exam. She went through the motions with great speed and in 5 minutes i was handed my prescription.
Anyways this is not even the problem. I wore my new glasses for a couple of days. I was having eye strain so i called and went to the shop. And then the 'shocker'. She would not make eye contact with me. i had to communicate with her through an intermediary. I have never seen someone do their job so unprofessionally.

Pros: Save time on the eye exam. Mine lasted 5 minutes!

Cons: High likelyhood of Inaccurate Prescription.
